Your pictures are making me crave something sweet. I didn't know that apricot pits were used to make amaretto, so I've learned something new. Congrats on your well written Pleaides, Andrea, and thank you for supporting my contest! Blessings!

I never thought about the contents or making of Amaretto until I read this poem. You are a learning experience. "Conflation of amaro ("bitter") and amore ("love") has led to associations with romance" -- Wikipedia.

I love Tiramisu but I have to watch my sugar. A tasty poem. Went to a reading tonight at Poets House and stood up and read 2 poems. How is your health? I pray you are O.K. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

When I think of Amaretto, I think of drinks like orgasm, godfather mixed with a little vodka and yummm. This is one of the best I have read but there is some pretty tough competition. Good luck Andrea.

AD, Looks like your poetry writing has slowed down also. This summer here is something else. Did Obama along with Hillary actually create ISIS? Jim
