Do Not Tarry My Son
do not tarry
but
do not tarry
somethings
are not of this earth
to worry about
now listen
my son
just bring me
my holster
and
bring me my gun
while
just to keep one foot out of the grave
and
do not tarry my son...

as two knights advance
 three pawns make defensive moves
 one queen is captured

Two advancing knights have made it known
Three pawns cannot keep one queen on the throne

Secrets can be diabolic or wonderful
Effective friends know how to keep one
Children should never be asked to keep one
Respect means not sharing someone else’s
Everyone I meet who shares one is sorry later
Telling a secret is the death of it...

The Soldiers
When there's a war
we walk in flocks
and behave the same way.

We keep one side
by patrolling the way
to see where the enemy is.

Our primary job
it's to lift heavy guns
to keep law and peace.

we keep left and right
as our rule
early in the morning....

What more can one ask of solid friends
Who go beyond words to express their love?
With honesty barring flattery
Trusted enough, we keep one another's keys
Who look out for each other, like family

Keep One Foot In Front of the Other
Keep one foot in front of the other
And move towards the light
Find your inner strength
Continue to make your world bright
Always possess the winning attitude
This will take you far
Put your heart and soul into everything
In order for you to be that shining star...

Kindness
It can be too sweet.
Kindness can numb the tongue and irritate.
It can be too sweet,
but it can keep one from claiming defeat.
Causing the disinclined to suffocate,
or keeping locked away death’s early gate;
it can be too sweet.

Metronome
Dance to my musical heart beats,
Hold thy breath to release my ticks,
Capture my whisper in your move,
Together we climax in joy.

Wind me in your desire for more,
Determined to replay each lap,
Squirm in passion to my aura,
Bound to pulse on my beaten track.

Pendulum, 440 hertz or software mode,
Dogma will keep one in true form....

My Pet Dragon
If dragons were real asked my son
Would I be able to keep one?
He could stay with me up in my room
Saturday morning we'll both watch cartoons
I could take him with me to school
And play Marco Polo in the pool
But what would you feed him asked I?
He'd need to fly high in the sky
If you catch one they get pretty mean
Dragons live in our wildest dreams....

I Miss You!
I miss you,
More than sun and flowers
We need our free life
For all the lovers!
Please, stay in the new,
Fresh, open world
Where every dream
Is a new romantic word
Of boys and girls,
Of tender dreams
Where eberybody
Fly on light wings
Singing and dancing
With the New Year band,
Let's keep one hand
In another free hand,
Let's celebrate
Our holiday together:
Parents and friends -
It's a Christmas forever!...

Insight
Innovations and inventions are key
To ones survival and assured safety

Rhyme and reason are also needed
To conquer obstacles never before defeated

Time and Training make one strong
When the days are hard and dragging on

Creativity and cunning are greater still
To delay your path becoming ill

Morale and morals keep one true
To the road one does pursue

Lust and Love will play a role
Both are good to ease the soul....

Rose Thorns
a rose's thorns are there for a reason.
the most delicate flower
needs the greatest protection.
the responsibility of caring
for something so sentimental
often outweights any allure of the harvest.
many can admire the beauty,
few can withstand the pain to hold on,
not a soul can keep one alive
by neglecting to give it light.
just as a florist cutting roses
early valentine's day morning,
the softest hearts are always
the first to be broken....

Premium Member Poinsettia
The poinsettia is such a magnificent plant
With bright red fronds, yellow-colored centers
Poinsettia trees growing tall like blazing towers
In Tanzania, we saw these gorgeous flowers.

I mentioned we pay a fortune for one blossom
And, I have never been able to keep one alive,
My guide said, “Here they are free! There, go
pick enough of them to fill a room, they thrive!”

Premium Member Under the Cabbage Leaves
We were found in the garden under cabbage leaves, my twin and I.
Our grandmother saw us first, but she did not want to be our mother.
So she sent Mommy out, and bam. There we were!
She almost missed my identical twin, and she stepped on her foot.
That is why my twin always walked with a limp.
Our father and grandfather were amazed and delighted
When they carried us into the house.
Grandpa wanted to keep one of us, probably my sister.
But Grandma said "no"
And that is how we were born....
