oh juniper tree
high five to thy lively gin
that drives us to jibe
a jitterbug jig and jive
that we all get berried in
joplar jovial juniper jasmines
aspirations astounding answers attack
zany zealous zippy zoos
zachary's zodiac zips zarnia

time stirs incensed sparks
a moon of juniper dreams
amidst this wild heart
aching to be cloaked in pine ~
sweet love … brushed in warm lilac
Juniper June
You know, your berries are showing
Juniper you might not see what everyone else seems to know
here
Let me help you out June
Man July came to soon
You were beautiful June
I first met you, heard you on a beach in Cornwall, Jennifer;
I fourteen, you, a soft, mellow chanted, sybaritic siren.
Still, the Hurdy Gurdy man stopped, looked across, smiled at this boy.
An old lady from North America,
Owned an evergreen shrub called Ithaca,
Its cones weren’t aromatic,
She stored them in her attic,
One night she transformed into silica.

MOUNT UBU

cold shade of Ubu
Just an evergreen
Using its sheen,
Notably seen
In a pattern pristine,
Presenting a keen,
Earthy fragrance clean,
Releasing into air serene.
May flora blooms exuding juniper fragrance
‘neath gleaming vernal azure canopies
fluorescence envelopes dewy sweet nothings
efflorescence aesthetic stuns and inspires
a hope once dormant to sparkle anew
should I fear my autumn
when Juniper wilts with me
and the sagging stars above
edge closer to the sea
should I fear my autumn
with winter still to show
my days hasten their step
for night engulfs me so
tre three penny das ta do
juniper juniper the opened mass
turn over your yarn
to the tormentors
stir the pot
breach of peace

the time has come

Slow,
breath in;
Take your time
please do not rush;
Nothing you must do
stay in bed if you want
or meet someone on the road;
Dawn brings good luck and clarity,
wherever you go it’s the right way;
Savor each day and its Juniper vibe.
At a local restaurant, the chicken fingers were so huge
For these big birds, eating at the trough they were screwed
So they started eating leaves
From local juniper trees
Ended up surviving the recent popularity of chicken soup
Cerulean soft shallows glide
like lotic lullabies; gentle,
hushed. Juniper hills undulate
breezy slopes, tucked tender Autumn,
where turgid pastels drift perpetual
atop the sleepless river - surface deep.

We languished near the cascading water
Lush forests of birch, aspen and juniper grow
A bridge spans across the stream, me and my daughter.
Natural beauty I'm sure you'll easily recognize and know,
A panoramic view, though in winter beware of the snow.

an evil genie within
with breath
of juniper
stranded on
a ship built in
an empty bottle
the evil is not
the jinn tempting
me to let him
out but for
me to
come
in

Beautiful, blue, existing
Feelings such of happiness
Blossoming

Fragrant, amazing smells
Maturing, flourishing, showing

Juniper- a genus of evergreen
Under the cypress family list;
Neath scented leaves, new berries are green.
It had a place in mythology's mist.
Protection, Long life, Purification
Expressed in religious celebration
Rejecting evil spirits in between.

Lost and Found
To simply sit is enough
rain or shine, bright or dull
it doesn’t matter.
To simply sit
in this moment just as it is
nothing is gained
but everything lost.
And when you’re done?
Why, everything is right
where you left it.

Spring has come early,
cherry trees are in full bloom,
Juniper Street resembles
a country orchard;
what's really missing are sweet songbirds...
who longs for their harmonious sounds:
when loneliness abounds?

Juniper berries are a brilliant bright blue,
Prettier, not as dark as blueberry’s hue
While growing, prefer warm sunny spaces
Live on several continents, many good places
Add flavor to liquors are a diuretic too
Also, a stimulant, but what can you do?
If you come across one, don’t dive right in
They are bitter off the vine said my cousin Jin.
The everlasting evergreen,
the most beautiful tree I have ever seen.
Lives through the seasons of hot and cold,
deep in the forests big and bold.
Spruce, fir, juniper, and pine,
the shades of green that never die.
Lime, oleander, magnolia, and mistletoe,
are forever prepared to withstand the cold.
The everlasting evergreen,
trees that outlive everything.
Upon birth, Juniper loved her name; no one else had it.
But then others heard it.
Now there are sixteen Junipers in the same class - her class.
The teacher wants to number them.
Juniper one, Juniper two, Juniper three.
The parents sign a petition they do not want their children numbered.
They should have thought of that before they stole Juniper’s middle name too.
