Opinions
Miracle Man
1/26/2o24
Spew my opinions?
To avoid confrontation,
some I hold inward.
At last this long day is done
In the dark I turn inward
Trying to forget
Drifting into nothingness
In deep sleep, no memories
Inward goodness sparks
the greatest arts, inspiring
gifted achievement
carried out boldly by men
who find beauty in their muse.
let your inward beauty progress~
destroy the outside attractiveness.

Civil is the tongue that stays in the mouth quietly calm inward spirit soul~

Through doors and windows,
Further and further inward,
Pushing limits until inward becomes outward,
And miracles unfold into reality.
Charred edges
Slowly curl inward,
Like a hand closing into a fist.
Flames bounce
Briefly as they encroach
Upon the last remaining
Shred.
WORRY LOOKS AROUND...
SORROW LOOKS BACK...
PITY LOOKS INWARD...
BUT FAITH LOOKS UPWARD!
Form:
The speed of a photon,
the steps of a man
The truth pointing inward
—where forever began
(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2019)
an inward battle
anxiety leads to stress
then acid reflux
Edward J. Ebbs - February 9, 2016
Written for a Contest, Haiku 102
lips purse,
face frowns, mouth sucks,
cheeks implode, tongue recoils
head snaps back - disgusting taste - sour

The past is a forgotten country,
tomorrow a foreign land
traveling inward I leave today
—free of times command
(Dreamsleep: October, 2021)
stale, stagnant, unmoving
going nowhere,
forgetting to live
stuck in the muck of nothingness
dried out, dried up,
closing inward
forgetting to care
When you point your finger of judgement at others
There are three fingers pointing back at you
Look inward first before pointing that finger!
Orange fantasy
Carved smiling face, a candle
Lit inside its soul
Flickering beauty inward
A calm feeling from within
Russell Sivey
When we think of love
Men think of women
And women, of men
There is a place, where
Neither men nor women exist
But love does… abundantly!

I shift my focus inward
I hum gently till the vibrations resonate
~ chanting clears my mind's cobwebs

Came and the end
To corner west
And the death
Is only start
Of new east
Throughout
One narrow path of the death
for another inbound
Of life
Inward
Of cycle
Form:
The wheel of life,
the wheel of death,
Involution breaks their hold
To turn our
consciousness inward
—and directly know the Soul
(Dreamsleep: March, 2020)
A brazen chime, did eyes fare grander?
Her inward jazz, knowing--love me now.
O patient, quiet reins
Save tomorrow
Under violet's waltz.
Xerxes' yelping zenith.
peering
into
the nightly
abyss
a surprise
the guest
awaiting
gently
she reeled him
inward
down, down
putting
his blistered
wings
to her
smoldering
ire
Day by day
hour by hour
minute by minute
the moments return
Calling me softly
calling me inward
calling my name
—calling me home
(Dreamsleep: November, 2023)
Looking inward more often lately
Is it a sign of age now that I'm over eighty
Dwelling on my life
Devoid of strive
Hope my departure won't be too hasty
Nothing but sea
where seagulls lie at a distance
Nothing but sea
as water on water beating —
the undertow like a chalice,
a glimpse of far inward duress,
Nothing but sea
To Me
to me your love looks inward
you only serve yourself
from where I sit, no one else is included
even I am left out
why did we marry
