Riddle Poem

Take it less
You will want more
Take it in excess
it turns into poison
So tell your
Daughter in laws
To use it
In proper proportion,

Bugged

There’s a bug with tiny little jaws
They bite and leave you with sores
They bite you by night
When you sleeping tight
Not the bed bugs but my in-laws

Mother-In-Law

Smile, use charm and hope
to extinguish the fire of
mum-in-law dragons.

I've never met mine, but Mother-in-Laws are traditionally thought of as dragons
over here (all in good fun, I think).

In-Laws Contest

When they come to town.
Asking annoying questions.
“Missed you,” like the flu.

Mom gets to know me.
Invasion of privacy.
"Really don't mind."

Its as pleasureful
as going to the dentist.
Is it over yet?

In-Laws

They come to visit
with their opinions galore
Time to go home yet?

They mean well, but still
they're getting under my skin
Time to leave here now!

Got to love in-laws
especially when they go
Back home, far away...

This led me to

I was questioned by my former in-laws
When you were taking care of the baby
placing the bathtub over the bathtub
Did you have modesty in your gaze?

I swear by God
I tried with my passport
This led me to autism and dyslexia
Soon to be PTSD too!

John had his mom’s eyes
Inherited her kindness --
Keen sense of humor

Sweet sister-in-law
They shared love for animals --
She and I still close

Never met father
John tried to avoid his fate --
Died young like his dad

My In-Law

He rolls like baby
Playing hearts like he's ready
To lose his deary

Your bro not that boy
Played my heart like it's a toy
You're pain, he's a joy

My brother-in-law
If no heart wants you, then how?
Grow up will you now!

Father-In-Law Cares

Love drips from his voice
As he rang me out of bed
''Hope you guys are fine''

These words stream my soul
To seconds of sweet silence
I replied, so fine.

 Another dawn he'll call
Spilling the same syllables
In the same verse form.

Family Man

Family Man

Loves
his wife
and children
working weekdays
sacrificing his needs for theirs, willingly.

Repeatedly setting the examples
his children watch
learning how
to grow
up
