The journey was rough
but I made it home to you
and now I'm finally safe in your arms ~

Think about the time
Is your day an offering?
Did you plan it well?
Homeward bound to Heaven now
I sail onward through the din
summer wings
take flight in September
humidity
heavy
too weighty
to lift
your
cursed curse
and
lighten
my load
homeward bound
Little Honey Bee
Little honey bee
flying wild and free
sees flowers all around
now he's homeward bound.

Near lonely lighthouse, a gull swoops down
to kiss the waves, then veer around
Back up skyward, pumping wings
~ gliding swiftly, homeward bound
He was simple minded and hearted
From his grandmother's house departed
As he was homeward bound
He got so turned around
Thus ended up back where he started
Last uphill stretch homeward bound
Smoke from the chimney in the distance
that tingling sensation of belonging

With his new gift he was homeward bound
Scarecrow signs showed it was no longer sound
scientist stress
his life was a mess
looking for his mind in the lost and found.

Parallel smoky white lines carve paths as
passage marked 'cross cobalt sky;
homeward-bound seraphim.

Burnt rubber
from grinding gears
awaken mine nostrils
Thickened fog
'pon darkened roads
embrace my sight
Four smiles leads a path
distance fades
as forty tons push me down Forty
A tragedy, a train derailed.
Not far in deep grief of the scene;
homeward-bound it so tried, but failed.
Burnt cork smell and images seen
veiled as they lay upon cold ground.

Hands twirled
The magical wand
Feet skimmed
Over the golden sands
A celestial sojourn
My butterfly was born
Draped in colours
She cushioned my feet
So long
I'm homeward bound-

Homeward bound, I had a one-way ticket,
Pleased; it was stashed safely in my pocket.
Showed it at the counter,
“Wrong route”, said the teller.
I should be at home to fly this ticket!
On my village's dusty lane,
Temple bells hum afar,
Bikes rumble, jasmine swirl,
Dhol , flute music echo,
Elder men sip chai at dusk,
Steps echo homeward bound,
Heart drifts back to that old home.
As the battle rages on
We are but the few
So many are here and gone
We are but the few
Standing solid on the ground
We are but the few
Still alive and homeward bound
We are but the few
ah yes the dreams of yester-year,
when life was young and sweet,
the age demon shifts a gear,
as homeward bound we creep,
doth sneer:)
bit *****,
i'll belt the little creep:)

"Alone"
Don
You see,
More kindness will be seasoned by the strange of strangers.
Rather than the ones that have known you forever.
Till the crows come back around.
A strange of a stranger will neighbor the kindness for a homeward bound.
Acres of tears
Mark her passing
Enriching the soil
For time everlasting
Head bowed in sorrow
Sad sight to behold
I no longer have
Her arms to enfold
'Tho body is gone
Her spirits around
This person who made me
Is homeward bound.
Spring festival
Auspicious colours
Painting town red
Reunion dinner
Grand celebration
Hearts aligned
Homeward bound
To gather again
Good times come around
Joy sings
Spring chorus;
Familiar red packets
Laughing faces
Jolly feasting:
Memory subscribes
Nature walk in spring
Wonder what the day will bring
Dog kept on a leash
As we pass a field of sheep
Stop to help pregnant ewe
Trapped in fence her head pushed through
Homeward bound we should sleep sound

Dust falls on my brain
Covering the craters of my past
The surface lays undisturbed
As I want it to be
Until I am ready to ascend
Like the Lunar Module
Blasting away the few footprints
That I have left behind
I am homeward bound
Amongst the stars

Beyond companions
Trees without sounds
Birds homeward bound
Winter’s passing thru
Emptiness in view.
Rekindled
Day bids goodbye
Night stands by
All is kept
After nature slept
Edge of night
Not dark or light
Dim lit sky
Nature will fade
Time does trade
Most cry all night without making a sound, but I'm the only one
that feels blessed for what I have found. The distant stares into a world that is
unsound; The joy I will feel when I am homeward bound. The steel that contains my
body is very heavy; my thoughts will always be steady.
Form:
My heart is sad
And the way is lonely and long,
And there is a fear
that I may be lost.
The sun is set,
And the sky is gray and cold,
And I am, oh!
a home bound solitary bird--
Forlorn and perched
on the branch of a dead tree.

Riotous, raucous —
Rainbow parrots’ feathers fly.
Acrobatic clowns
Three great crows regard
The thrown away takeaway —
Keen, sharp, purposeful.
Butcherbirds on wire
Bowing and fluting in turn
A twilight concert.
Black wings on pink dawn.
Flying foxes homeward bound
To roost — full of fruit.
