then climbs into her silver chariot,

which she will illuminate

become needles that sting the soil
during midday.

i suffer the torture of the heavens,

they dwell above my being,
and they cast umbras on mine.

i roam on the desert of apathy,

Jupiter's vital streams embalmed ingrown clod
With growing pressure swelling kernel did prod

A thick, black, very wet blanket out
In the Southeastern quadrant 
Of the New Mexico firmament,
Complete with lightning
And growling, crackling,
Massive basso-profundo sound effects,
Inviting the sun to rest,
Take a load off, 
Reeellaaaxxx! 

Abrasively radiant,
Helios glared a brilliant, heated, passionate,
Steamy smile
Into the arid monsoon skies

And refused Storm’s invitation
To lie down and go to bed...

B. C. A Flame

All day long, we are under this orb, orangey, pink in hue.
We see it through the ghosts, the essences we once knew.

Helios, on his voyage over this blanket of cremated life, flies.
Unfortunately, only he, not we, doth see beautiful blue skies

while we, under this monstrously heavy blanket of  gray,
have yet been able to view a cloud or a clear blue sky day.
