Night Shift

The sun was so friendly, he shot out a ray, but when nighttime approached, he could no longer stay. The sun hit the ocean, and the moon hit the sky as the stars twinkled Helios a bashful goodbye. But ol' Sol will be back, so you needn't weep - he'll return in the morning when stars go to sleep.

A beautiful poem, simple yet so picturesque! I can see through your words, the sun waving goodbye, and the moon unfurling her silver halo, and cradling the midnight ripples! Always hope for another dawning of light! Pleasure reading your poem. Sending you light alway.
