Here Without a Trace
Within the crowd I am indistinguishable.
A piece of hay in the haystack, a needle I am not.
The flower I am on the wall.
I see All, I hear All.
But none see me....

To Many Irons In the Fire
"Lost like a needle in and haystack"
"Make hay while the Sun shines", some make to much
Could be a bad case of," to many irons in the fire"...

The haystack yields more than just giggles
It shakes first then wobbles and wiggles
A month has now gone by
Can someone tell me why
She now craves ice cream with dill pickles

her eyes were blue skies

the thrill of the hunt was a long track
she was like finding a needle in a haystack
he finally captured her eyes
thread to bare was full size
threading the needle took patience and tack

My Mind
Thoughts and ideas are entangled
within and inside doodled concepts
that tie and cross themselves,
in a fashion I cannot comprehend
sometimes.
Often I meditate and reflect,
to get all my thoughts together,
like kinda looking for a needle
in a haystack.......

Premium Member The Magic In a Haystack
Farm child or a child from the city
Every one of them know the magic
Something to be dove into from up high
Or tunneled into through a secret door
A haystack can be anything you can imagine
A pond or a castle or anything in between
But it will always be fun
And who could ever ask for more...

Searching Yourself
Have ever felt as though you are in the middle
of a haystack in this world?
Too many role models and books telling
you who you are?
Don't feel lost;
you already know who you really are.
Just close your eyes, and listen to your soul
in deep silence....
Then an answer will soon light up your conscience!...

Forget Your Needle In a Hay Stack
I'm a needle in a haystack
walking about among all
never standing tall.
A stick in an ever growing field of flowers.
never a stalk, never any power.
just a lone discarded weed, but i feed
on your unknowing, my unshowing.
until an unblossoming of a true form me
and a society forced to see me,
and try to be me,
 the perfect rose....

Premium Member Farmer Fred Has a Bad Day
Farmer Fred I could tell,
Was not doing very well.
He was having a day from Hell.
None of his plans seemed to gel.
It started when his haystack fell.
Then his tractor got stuck as well.
Cows got loose and were wandering pell-mell.
Never one on troubles to dwell,
I knew Fred wasn’t doing swell,
When in middle of day he stopped to set a spell....

Lost Love
Everyday I hope and write
but all my thoughts keep me up at night

I have searched in every place
but feel this is a never ending race

Its been like looking for a needle in a haystack
I now wonder if its something that I lack

I hope the day comes that I know
whether my love will still grow

Every night I will pray
until that faithful day...

NO More day NO More night
Rainy sun and blue moon in the half-light of day
Dancing with green silence
NO more music caught red-handed
by the simultaneous clash of lives
in the middle of the orange street ablaze
by the simultaneous shock of lives
exploded in he middle of the yellow glowing night
by the glare of a dark haystack

Off the Grid
Storm's brewing inside
Idea of being behind
Like a needle in a haystack
You seek, I hide

So-called friends were here
but now, where?
Years of realization,
led to one conclusion

Convenience over you
An option, quite true
Knowing it late
but hey, no hate

I won't be around
fill the blanks throughout
Using the lid
'cause I'll be off the grid.

Why a 'needle' in a haystack
  What's it doing there
And 'a stitch in time 'saves nine' ~
If nine more stitches, who cares

And who ever cries over 'spilled milk'
I'm certainly not of that ilk
If 'a penny' saved were a MILLION earned
Then perhaps I'd dress in silk

All I'm saying here, my friends
Is it might be wise to analyze
Why we say, 'Want fries with that'
~ Why risk eating your hat...

Plunged in miss of motion
As ocean
Plots were much on plate of mist
plane and who were on board
Fates were many but needle
In haystack
They found their needle
One fate there
But where
Are parts of any
Still we
Missing the fact
How their fate
Turned in last
To wrecks
And where the grief
Is buried
Their loss and pain
The certainty of no hope
Is hurt the heart
let we pray that they got peace
In theirs end...

Homespun Wisdom

Got sent to the principal's office
Sex Ed teacher made the call
Said I didn't raise my hand,
and spoke out of turn
That I said some racy things,
that had the whole class giggling
Well, Mr. Principal, sir ...
I simply said my parents told me
that sex don't work like that
They said before you go ripping your clothes off,
and jumping in the sack ...
eager to sow your seed
You first gotta find that needle in the haystack...
