Stock-still statues
Bucolic totem-poles
Munching fly-swatters
Lazily grazing ...
Invisible to driverless cars
Wild Stallions
Grazing in
Blue Kentucky grass
This shall never last
Dragon blue
Thunderstorms overcast
This shall never last
no one talks about
the elephant in the room
grazing on silence

her attitude is as Stoney as the Henge ~ she’s hellbent on revenge
like an old cow chewing cud and grazing ~ her utters are a hazing
The sparkle of the wind
Grazing over my soft skin
Leaving me breathless
Envelops my soul
Circling my tender heart
Filling me with love
Mr. Einstein, bright star
Mr. Einstein, peaceful grazing sheep
Mr. Einstein, bold mountainer
Mr. Einstein... one of noblest men on Earth

Spring came back today
With sunshine and sliver clouds
Over the forest's frindge
Red deer celebrate the day
Grazing on shiny fresh green
Despair not,
The wound is superficial
The arrow only grazing
Your death mask delayed
The pain is real
But the end,
far from us
Elk
slowly walk
grazing off open paths
a distant bugling call
Hunter
hunkered down, still
open sight

Gazelles grazing gaily on golden green grass
Glaciers glittering gold like gleaming glass
Gardens glowing with Gulmohur and Gold stars
Golden gifts of God.
In a yonder canyon
Upon earth’s finest grass I sit
Scathing mature flower petals
As if to sojourn the years
When youth nestled us
Grazing our faces with happiness
tender caress grazing my heart ~
thunderous ignition therein starts

Merging, melding, boundaries blurring, presence
celebrates touch divine so blissful, grazing
upon holy ground within, each cell throbbing …
transcending all isms.
grazing in
her meadow
her rolling
hills with
patches
of grass
drinking
from her
watering
hole
i heavily
walk
stumbling
as my
other
udder
needs
milked

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2021©
Freezing days on a steep hill
below a flock of sheep grazing,
under a watchful dog standing still.
And I, with binoculars appraising
Winter's life is amazing!

It's almost as if,
it's this constant rhythm.
My mind is grazing
across a field,
searching in places
I've never acknowledged.
Times changing for a second
towards what is to become.

?A grumpy grandpa (from Greece), gruff and gray,
is grazing on a grain of grass, graceful.
He’s grumbling that the grim grave is growing
greater and greedily greeting his grasp.
In spite of what you hear in the news
As well as cows, *****sapiens do moo
Especially when embraced
By a voluptuous young waif
Grazing on grass is also a very good clue
If I lead, will you follow
far away, on hill and hollow,
racing over field and stream,
galloping fast to catch a dream,
going to find the gold-green hay,
grazing in the sun all day?
In spite of what you hear in the news
As well as cows, *****sapiens do moo
Especially when embraced
By a voluptuous young waif
Grazing on “grass” is also a very good clue
sitting by the pond
the water glimmers, shimmers
like a silver light
love’s eyes shine, grazing in mine -
real, or a reflection too?

Fruity
Apples and raisins
Are all grazing
By the flamingo trees
Being chased by honey bees
Are the bears
Who use to care
As they run down the stairs

By James Edward Lee Sr.
Men have radar when it comes to pretty ladies
It keeps on keeping on, though still in our eighties
Thought by now
Be grazing with cows
Like a hard-charging bull, I snort and roar daily
My ears are always eager to hear
birds chirping, hoes meeting the ground,
cattle grazing, footsteps of people
going to work, cheerful singing....
These sounds make me to have a zeal
for having a vibrant day!
