Question

If one's lifetime is based on his or her accomplishments, how is he or she then graded on their integrity, when the all mighty dollar is their God?

White Water

Water so white flowing freely
Cascading down the slightly
Graded rock in the cool creek
As the land levels, the water
Becomes yellow with autumn leaves

Cousin's Math

Cousin’s math overly concentrated.
Using numbers that were overrated.
But how can that be?
Is three not still three?
She got angry, her math not well graded.

Down Graded

wings of security
silence of words
bubbling crimson drink
atrocities of the last
war
eloquent lips of wants
loiter in the dark corridor
of greed
i am downgraded to
a different dimension

Not Right

An unwritten letter,
An unfinished fight.
Something is wrong,
Or nothing is right.

A low-graded essay,
An 'F' overall.
Nothing done properly,
Or not done at all.

The play divine

As of choiceless choice
Employing free will
The one became two
Erased memory
To engage in play

In timeless time
Graded silence
Rekindled bliss
Transcendental

The mirror
Now broken
Ended trance

The two
Became

One

Failing The Muse

Have I let
her down again
Have I failed
once more
Have I jumbled
up the words
Have I graded
poor
Have I taken her
for granted
Have I missed
the mark
Have I disappointed
one
—who pulled me from the dark

Graded Silence

Graded silence orbits the source In throes of bliss delight Music divine it’s sole resource Nestled at zenith height Each pulse, hold and release Seductive is the breeze Heart so easy to please Joyous cadence Graded silence 01-September-2021 Quietus

Lost Memories

In the ebbing light
She will call you
winding to the sea
her chimes echoes
for a well remembered life

As thought is to be brow
I will follow you
with the chiming wind

I really care
wont someone special really listen
The Friday home
like graded blues
dipping into the neon indecipherable

Be To Become

Cessation of thought ego begot, gradual graded disassociation from fear & desire precipitation, we hollow out mind-body from cravings & urgings shoddy, even as divine magnetism within persists we be to become a bliss mist, until ceasing to weigh & size we simply vaporise!

How to calibrate
Attention distillation
There is no one here

In the Eyes of Man

We've done nothing to deserve it
We're here to observe this

Participation is mandatory
Conditional on living

Question all you want
The answers may or may not be given

You will be graded by your peers
The test will end at your time of death
Your final grade may be subject to change

I hope you all have studied well

Good Luck

Honest To Cod

The Feeling of Fishing while Floating
Is Graded on Goading, and Gloating

Bystanders oft blindly believe
In salmon the size of my sleeve

Tall Tales at the Time Told True
In Grandeur they Gained and they Grew

But my Rod and Reel won't Remember
Come the Dread and the Din of December

And by the Time I again Tell my Tale
I Will have Wrangled Ahab's White Whale

Generation T

Vapid vicissitudes fade
Because we all know them
For they are life's poor grade
Graded by pain and pain
Felt by humanity,
Humans share suffering.

So tragedy is last
Not first we're told,
Telling lies to selves
Ourselves most tragic
Of all, is self loss.

Terms of terror
Unknown currents
Currently blind
Phobia's, all kinds.

Past echos,
Forgotten
Generation,

Torments
Trammel

These.

Grandpa Explains the Grading Scale

Grandpa’s barn held many secrets
We were cautioned to never open the boxes out there
We figured there were skulls and bodies in them.
When we were six we opened some

Found report cards but did not understand the A’s and B’s.
We were graded with S’s and G’s at the time.
Took them to Grandpa who explained them this way.
A for awful, B for Bad, C for Correct, D for danged Good and F for fine.

Grandma had been an awful student!

Flying Psychiatry

Flying Psychiatry
A possibility so endless, uneducated guess Pharmaceutical addiction to pills of stress Suicidal thoughts confessed it was me more or less The cleanest neat mess, all the luck I press Even God will not Bless all this unfaithfulness One F'ed up quest, another F graded test A mind that never rests, always second best Another one just flew over the Cuckoo's Nest

School

When in the course of time
You saw you were blind
And your deaf ears heard,
“I love you!”

Then the dead flesh died
Though the demons tried
And your old friends said,
“Who are you?”

Striving to solve this mystery now
They search themselves
But no one knows
The question.

But the answer's clear.
The Word is near.
In the hearts of men,
Eternity.

Now in the course we're in
It's the test of time
And we're graded on our
Our answer.
Who is he?

Our Final Test

Our final test will be graded
When our breath has dissipated
Life itself is our final test
Final grade when we’re laid to rest

Taking the test may make you snore
If you don’t care about the score
For the next one you’ll study more
Then it hits I’m dead on the floor

There’re no more chances to improve
That was the final my last move
What can I say when at the gate
Please let me have a later date

Your name is not here take a look
Only those saved are in the book

The Renovator

Mega-buck ideas
are followed by sledge hammer schemes,
foundations and roof stripped
to the studs.

A posse of hard hats are bent on obeying
her every command & whim
as they knock through walls,
bludgeon bathrooms into submission.

She has added me to her do-over list.
I am being up-graded
into something way less comfortable.
It seems I don't fit-in nor match
and the testy visionary regards me
as far too shaggy to live here.

I’m having a dog house
built for myself.

Octaves of Love

Love graded, joy bubbling, then transiting, on heart opening, to empathy spacial; it’s outpouring radial. In time we get to compassion; warmth of love steadily outpouring, with vibrant bliss within thus pulsating. Over time, something within falls away. Inner silence becomes our mainstay. Hollowed form pure and pristine, exists to live the love dream, as joy within does stream, an invite to merge in the bliss surge, radiant, aglow, here. 21-October-2020
