genetic blooms
creative is the universe
from dawn to dusk
dirt to dirt
Both God and man
temporary creations
In the infinity
of black holes
FUTUTION
It will come to pass
We will live to see
The revolution
Of human
Evolution
By gunpoint
Or by mobocracy

Donald Trump was as stumped as a man can be
"How could LeBron James be anything like me?"
A wise old owl
Commenced to howl
"Quite different branches grow on the same tree!"
Bless them all, I love them dearly
With all of their imperfections
They are a reflection of myself -
Ironic genetic selections

Pierre Messie,
a French actor
with a rare genetic trait.
Gave audiences a whirl.
He could will his hair
to stand, fall, or curl.
Or curl one side, keeping the other straight

It seems that your looks are genetic
And no one would claim they're magnetic
Improve the aesthetic!
Apply a cosmetic!
Synthetic is seldom pathetic!
We instinctively know
that any primped up poodle,
or any beautiful person
that has won, by chance,
the genetic jackpot
will know in their hearts
that while looks last
they will have this bad world
by the balls.

Abraham’s mad ravings
shape a world of war,
brother battles brother
while women keep score.
Genetic mutations
of power and greed,
line pockets of prophets,
who’s will be decreed.
The earth’s precious children
lay waste in thy name...
Business as usual
proceeds just the same.
Form:
i send a message
in a dark passage
repetition pulse
genetic impulse
you do repeat back
via a small crack
repetitive tone
you begin to moan
all things stop and start
skin not far apart
a very hard code
release a soft load
our messages sent
intimate time spent
it is a shame
even in some
ways a sham
but i am trying
to reverse some
things like super
man flying back
wards against the
rotation of earth's
gravitational pull
so let me take
your hand but
promising to
give it back
after we
have taken
a relaxing
dip in our
genetic
pool
Form:
Machete jabs
cycle through a staccato lied.
The music is Jurassic,
a tune rattled in the throat
of a feathered lizard.
It pecks out the genetic code
of jackhammers.
Stabs eardrums deep,
a primal stirring
of blood and sap.
The forest echoes
as time hammers on.

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr 2020
my favourite song is what I need
one ephonious voice for everything to go in place
perhaps that's what life is about
the old fortunes and curses always come into play
magick for all of us, magick for the rest of them
we are the genetic bearers of our ancestor's gifts
and I want flowers laid on my grave
pliant
strands which curl, knot
coloring surface life
unifying
woven
strings, strung, bow tight
joining top to bottom
left side to right
threads light
threads bright or dark
holding, strengthening, strong
genetic strands

Spandex thighs
Spiralized my eyes
Hyper flex her wonders
Set my helix spinning
Genetic refrain
DNA slain phonetic
Double down Maxwell magnetic
Electric blues make life too hectic
Two alarm scribe
Workout overtime perfection
Repetition fired sugar glider
Run your ladder up beside her
Some biologist or perhaps romantic engineer
may have found it in the insert, turn, genetic
Click and lock of our male and female union
The shining, lubricated slide of parts
offered up, plunged and seated does
Seduce - but more in them than us
For in these angels' perfect fit
and finish true
Marriage
exists.
Agression
Where come from? From the mind? From the soul?
Is it genetic? No. It’s not that. Then? From second
Second? Yes. The second person. That’s not an ego
The second you. Sure. Lives with you. Drive. Demon
But not all aggressive
I have one. Friendly

i don't eat meat
it's not i can't or
it's not i won't i
just choose not
to but i'm not
an evangelical
vegetarian that
damns you you
sinner for taking
and tasting the
flesh so get over it
it's not genetic just
except it and leave
it as that so when
in Rome do as the
Romans do
i'd love to

Form:
Calculating bravery, designing a plan
To conquer fear and rise above it
Emotions running high, sweat on the skin
Genetic alphabets, a faulty concealment
Pulsing circuitry, a universal connection
Astrological bees, preparing for inception
To overstand this world is not to be sane
But to demand respect, with a brush of humane color.
