Centennial Fury

The great American Songbook
whose words march off the page

Its music now a footnote
  —to a century of rage

Flood's Fury

My heart aches of them,
My mind worries over them;
Their plight in cold breeze-
Fighting fitness to survive,
And still, troubled flood parades!

Premium Member Fury

Fury
powers
tornadoes of emotions,
twisting mind and soul
into
forces of ugliness,
which destroys the
existence of
ourselves

Fury of Today

The wind's violent surges, And silent urges write these defiant verses. In the fury of today, no one is here to stay. So let’s fly far away.

lightning, powerful
blue, quick-silvered, the lands
amber-torched, so quick

Fury and Ferocious

Fury and Ferocious

Fury will end up finding ferocious;
At same time becoming atrocious,
Trump alluded;
Badly deluded;
Apparently appears to be precious.
And supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Premium Member Hell Hath No Fury

Breaking up with one woman to be with another.
Oh dear, is the transition ever smooth? Well, not this one!
A lothario has bitten off more than he can chew.

Premium Member Hell Hath No Fury Beware

hot burning affair
but he was part of a pair
                     wife became aware
ripping them off wants her share
                   family jewels left bare

Brazen night winds crash brittle glass of our furious voices Quieting down, we slowly climb inside eyes lit with dear splendor A flood of kisses roam north to west of mouths--- drowning stars

Rage

When rage grips over me
Blood spouts to my head
Veins throb and pulsate with anger
My body trembles with fury
I am a stranger to myself
The demons take over me
My taipan tongue spits venom
That very few can tolerate

Hate’s Fury

It’s horrid

prompts the worst action—

vile anger

blood boils hot

a true mindless impulse that

wounds the soul deepest

Premium Member Thundering

a silence
drawing
drudging
driving
drumming
drilling
louder than
a drone

rushing like a river
a mill
a power plant

in a hurry
wild with fury
roaring past
resounding
late for the
end of time

Her Fury Ignites

Her Fury Ignites

Eerie darkness illuminates from
Her flesh as her fury ignites fear
Into heart of mortals with fiery eyes

and burning soul that bursts into

Flames of dark desire and passion
To assure your doom with
The slightest touch of pleasure.

Premium Member November's Fury

           hum
         of wind
    turns to growl
     as November
 closes out Autumn.
     white pelicans
     migrate south.
          winter
           nigh

Her Eyes

Humorless green
Needlessly mean
Her eyes
A nightmare dream

Accusations
Loud but unspoken
Her eyes
Fury unbroken

Stripping my soul
Scorched to the bone
Her eyes
Will never atone

Withholding grace
Emerald trace
Her eyes
Morgue chilled embrace

Fury, A Shy Maid

My anger when watched all but nude,
It soon beat a hasty retreat.
Fury’s a shy maid in black mood,
When exposed, ogled at, would quit,
Feel helpless, void of all her wit.

Premium Member Devastation Arrived With a Fury

she announces herself days ahead
yet none of us are prepared
she tears us up and spits us out
uncaringly smashes and bashes us
our lives will never be the same
none of us were prepared
even those who thought they were
devastation arrived with a fury and a flurry

Fury

Matt sat upon the rooftop

as the rain came down

Below in the courtyard he heard

people moving round,

the thunder rolled with a fury

Such an earth shattering sound

Lightning flashed with equal terror

across the sky

The whole display was quite profound

Ears of Fury

"EARS OF FURY"

“I'm done,” she said
and she got out of her
car grabbing
her kid
from the backseat.
“You're not my father,”
she said,
walking away
without lessons from
a father.
then she was
out of my sight,
angry like
a bull running without
direction in Pamplona.

The face of the ocean seemed to smile
All was calm and quiet for a while
‘Till Wind’s temper was lost
With waves forcefully tossed
In her wrathful cantankerous style
