Hell Hath No Fury Beware

hot burning affair
but he was part of a pair
                     wife became aware
ripping them off wants her share
                   family jewels left bare

An unfortunate occurrence that has not stopped happening in this century.. You have written a real life experience in a very few words. Great poem David

Heya Funom, thank you so much for looking in, your right has not stopped and probably never will, I wasn’t judging the circumstances just perhaps the consequences, cheers David

Even though it's amusing, I'm sure it wasn't easy to write this tanka, only thinking about how to hurt the despised lover would be.Have a wonderful day, dear David. Best regards, cheers // Lasaad

Your so right Lasaad, this took a bit of figuring out, I took it apart numerous times, swapping lines and rhymes, til I was satisfied, or indeed the wife got satisfaction, cheers David

Thanks Arturo, either way it’s very troubling, nobody can be sure how a woman scorned will react, cheers David
