Hunting
I'm hunting for the light fantastic,
Heavenly nectar afar, terrific,
Intangible message, beatific,
Got no time for ravers, frenetic,'
Let's aim for the stars, fantastic,
I guess I am a dream fanatic!...

Love's Frenetic Energy
Love's frenetic energy

Ensnared by love's frenetic energy
Heart strings strumming to a Calypso beat
We move with syncopated synergy
passions swells rising from two lips in heat

The moon gleams on your pallid complexion. I cannot keep my eyes off your charm. Your bony dance is frenetic. Your wedding dress is chilling. Your hand holds the sandglass. When you wish, I am ready to feel on my neck your sharp scythe.

Wonderland
Without Malice, the blonde wee waif, with her banded hair and blue-white dress,
Shrinking alongside an insane milliner slurping tea, and dunking biscuits hard.
Frenetic and wild, the April Hare, late by 30 days, his minute hands I guess?
The Heartless Queen collecting heads, taking the fun out of Playing Cards....

Frenetic ponderings of a poet!
Some savor the quick and easy,
Sayings and lovely straight lines.

Mine rove serpentine, a wild ride
Through deep dark caves, rich
With pirate’s buried plunder.

This poet’s mind strays to days
Past, present, future - not always
Mine. Follow the treasure map.

It's rough
          and tumble,
life's frenetic
          race,
we stumble
          and struggle
to outrun
          a whirlwind,
leaving moments
          as specters
of the past,
          grasping
at shadows
          and chasing
fading dreams
          upriver
in time's
          relentless
stream.

Our Valentine
Today we are indebted to be quixotic
And think of yet another valentine.
We know the rules and we are both obscure:
Today’s the day we have to be romantic.
Our love is old and sure, not new and frenetic.
You know I’m yours and I know you are mine.
And saying that has made me feel romantic,
My dearest love, my darling valentine, -Tim Duncan...

Lost In the Mail
I wish to spend one day with you
but frenetic fears prevail
All the things I'd love to do
but they would only fail
for I am only mirrored lights
of other days and other nights
and I could never make it right
my heart is sick and pale
I write a ballad and a dance
I sing about a lost romance
but we would never have a chance
and so I just E-Mail....

An emerald green, beveled glass holder, with four giant wicks.
Smiling, and scenting me with gardenia scented uplifting, floral magic!

It's nature's fond adieux to me, to me, in silvered gown to rest, nothing frenetic.
In the loving arms of the constellations, shimmering and touchingly them......sleeping, 'tis more than poetic!!

Autumn's Final Bow
On leaf strewn woodland floors,

Autumn's raiments lie.

Adorning where they quietly fell,

From grey autumnal skies.

A pale sun, now weak and low

As autumn winds gust and blow,

Frenetic bursts of swirling leaves,

Dance amongst the naked trees.

Silent are the woods,

Readying for winter now.

To sleep, through the long cold days

As autumn takes her final bow....

Premium Member His Hands and Mind Fluttered
his hands and mind fluttered

he hit home runs in practice
in his solitude
under the sheets of loneliness
over the view of rose petals
the roar of the crowd wasn't in his dreams
or real love
the sound of pigeons trapped in a paper bag
fluttering, fluttering
frenetic ... was
he once tried his hand ...
... at sweet blossoms and lily pads
his hands and mind fluttered

Provocative tears and a face that frowns
accompany a costume so ornate;
She’s happy to come and entertain us,
with a flip tumbles in the Queen of Clowns;
Playing the Fool’s a charasmatic trait,
she comes to each field on a charter bus;
Without stepping off greeted by fanfare,
a frenetic crowd awaits at each gate;
They ogle and follow tempestuous,
moving from town to town just to chase her
                   ruckus....

First Pet Friend
I love my puppet beaver, my best friend
A gift to me my auntie gave, he never does pretend
Oh, how can I promulgate that he's a special friend
He makes me laugh when winter days seem like they'd never end
Sometimes I wonder how he chose to come to me
I love the way we laugh and play upon my knee
I have a special bond with him beyond compare
At times I do believe we breathe similar air
He never frowns inside my frenetic hand...
