good fisherman, thinker,
when the tide is not for fish
It doesn't carry fish, but stories...!
He’s lived a long life;
Now his days are short.
So he's slowed down,
Yet, time flies by
Even faster.

On the beach sat the fisher McBride
With his pole in a stand by his side
Then suddenly he had a big bite
And his pole took off into flight
Up he sprang, his mouth open wide
koi not to be caught
fisher breathed a sullen sigh
pond veiled in lilies

A king fisher swooped down
into the silent waters at the noon
a flash of amber and blue
bobbed up sloshing- whoo
a silver fish dangling from its beak
like an ornate pendant, from that creek
There's a self beyond yourself
When stretched you fly above yourself
Let the Fisherman, turn a fisher of man
A push will throw you above all you can -
When you aren't yourself but your best self
The Fish and the Hook,
Birthmark of a man,
A Fisher of Men,
Return-eth again,
Expected to change,
the fate of the damned,
Thy Will becomes Faith,
Our Lord's coming is planned!

Master, fisher gone
Far out upon the sea
When will he be home again?
To spend some time with me
Spending all his time away
Hunting for good fish
Will he soon come home again
Ah…that is my wish
Bring him back home safely
O’er the stormy waves and rain
Safely to his family
Bring him home again
I once heard of a fisher Luciano,
who sang bass as he played on his piano.
Once he fished and cast his line
by mistake hooked his behind
since that day, when he plays he sings soprano.

Limericks Clean and Clever
Thick viscous liquid on top
as the herons hover round,
looking for a way to grab
their underneath preys.
entrapped preys struggle for air,
fisher men confused and stunned,
Movement of tourists hindered,
water can`t be drunk.

The thunderous skies now capitulate to man, witnessing their tirade of wrath
Who would have thought nature now bowed, whilst viewing man's path
What man could imagine, beating a power like she

They met online with one click
She was a doctor, he was a prince
Both were liars, each a cat-fisher slick
All of their lives would make you wince
She paid for dinner, he had forgotten his money
In a few days they were calling each other babe and honey
Perfect couple of swindlers and thieves
When they swung by their relatives grieved.
aura and presence
of her blazing spirit
soul shifting transformations
karmic consequences
plunging like a king fisher
in the wilderness
of her sacred ocean
flowing water
of power and love
her prismatic eyes
penetrating blissful
lightning bolt of ascended truth
leading me into dark abyss
jolting and stirring
long lost desires

There's this feral cat
who knows just where it's at
when he wanders off for late-night prowlin'.
Sixth Street and Fisher Trail
no better place for tail
he slinks up licked clean and growlin'.
The young fluffy things call him “my little pita”
but his wife knows he's nothin' but a has-been ol' cheetah
and she gets the last laugh. He thinks she's out bowlin'!
Laughter....Haa! Haa! Hoo! Hee...a Wah...Hoo ho ho--Hehehe!!! Smile
And Silence....
My Two favorite sounds!!
Reminds me of children playing hard and having a good day then drifting off to sleep
at peace in the world...then mom's alone time just me and birds chirping and crickets
serenading me off to sleep. AAHHH!!
For Janette Fisher my inspiration
fisher man
fishing creel in hands
stuck with mud
crane near by
jumps here and there
eyes on fish
You have seen me in all my woes.
And yet you forgive.
You know me not personally,
But you have seen me on the Streets.
You care that I am a casted-off human-being.
And yet you take me in.
How wonderful you are,
for this is not a sin.
I am grateful to you.
Where you lead, others follow.
You are a Fisher of Mankind.
I am grateful to you.
The ocean rolled with white caps
Rising and falling in scattered
Wind blown sprays,
Waves breaking viciously
Upon shoreline rocks,
Jutting wharves,
Tied up little fisher boats.
Sea gulls overhead, as if angry
At the ferocity of today’s ocean
Whipped up by this autumn gale,
Shrieked in flight
As thunders roared
And
I enjoyed it all.

Fisher Price toys
For every girl and boy
A child’s enchanted heart
Love of toys from the start
The Fisher Price name
Satisfaction claim
Every child’s brand
Fisher Price extends throughout the land
Playful experience
Captivation influence
Fisher Price that no one forgets
A time and place
A past with no erase
Inner joy
A Fisher Price toy
The smiles from every girl and boy.
These are antiques the old lady said.
All of them?
She nodded.
Even these?
I held up a Fisher Price toy barn.
Especially that! She said.
I left feeling bewildered.
I had just held up my children’s favorite childhood toy.
Are my children also antiques?
And if they are antiques,
Where do I stand? What does this make me?
I got into my covered wagon and put a comforter over my head.
the crazy preacher man
he speaks
to me
I and the crowd
hypnotised
confused
and squinting
his shadow stands
before the sun
his silver words
are slivering
forth from ancient nets
fisher of men
gathering
it may be so
maybe it was
ever so
and so
some say
it may well
ever be
yet know ye this
that nothing new
shall ever stand
against the sun
and speak as He

When fate decides to bring you love
World of wars seems smiling like dove
Hearts embrace the other’s purity
Confusions go far to place serenity
Togetherness is cherished all time
Sounds appeal like a music chime
Marriage brings a new beginning
Hearts start a carefree new inning
Exchange of love...gift beyond life
Happily ever after, husband and wife
Contest: When fate decides by Janette Fisher
Turquoise was demure and fancy.
A light blue beauty, with pretty birdsong.
Our famous Mama Queen Fisher bird.
Smart too, with a flair for fishing.
She lured the fish out of the lake with her melodies.
Her traps were always full of smitten catfish or bass.
Fishermen paid her to bring them a catch.
She collected the fanciest gourmet birdseed from them.
We should have called her Copper, Silver or Gold.
