The alarm clock isn’t going off;
it’s dead there on the stoop.
I fear the feral cats
were in the chicken coop.
a spider intrudes
we swat it
our behaviour
feral, territorial
far from mindful
earth life teaches

Today
I saw a coyote…..waiting
......for the light to change

Born feline and left forever free to run;
Try but they’ll never be domesticated;
Feral life filled with unequivocal absolution.
i had known deep down
he was a man i could never possess
he would always be feral

Well you read at your peril
This poet is feral
It’s all hoods and winks
When this black sheep inks
Her sword is a single-barrel
;),
When he had her over a barrel
She complained that it was not feral
But once on a keg
She commenced to beg
Too wild would result in his peril!
~little robin in
the tree a feral cat eye
-ing thee fly away~

Let us huddle together
listening to the
hot breath of hunting wolves
not knowing it is we
who breathe so coarsely
so loud
so lost and feral
The ugly old tomcat was feral
Rumors abound that he’s sterile
But when the moon’s high
All the hot kitties sigh
Tease that old boy at your peril
Lost silver’s feral
As it swirls aqua ~
Elemental chance
looms on fins primal
Sated or not, swims
and grins......eureka!

Beasts
great stink rising up in warm waves
feral
bellow
running dark
not quite blind
herd formation
other quiet beasts wait under cover
for the weak
small animal feral
always be bottom of barrel
some who are sterile
wear weird apparel
named Cheryl or Carol
named Darrel or Harold
named Merrill or Jerald
Naked, in your hatred, you daily bask
Your face contorts into a feral mask
As for the good friend that I've known so long
Alas, for now, all humanity gone
Playful gray squirrels
Chasing in my dogwood tree
A wary eye out
For coyotes and feral cats
Pay no attention to me

sounds of gunfire
shatter a warm afternoon...
one more lockdown
gray feral pigeons
scatter from their rooftop nests ...
tomorrow's headline
Feral Carol was a dance hall girl.
Up on a barrel, she'd swing and swirl.
She never disappointed.
Her pelvis was disjointed.
And they love it when her tassels twirl.
You stole my humanity and cast me into a wild frenzy
Now I feed off of you
Tame me, pet me or let me run feral
Is this love or is this me
If this is love my goodness me
pair of amber jades
set in glistening black foil~
rats scurry in fear

dressing, undressing as fate ordains
we walk through life as already impulsed
bliss magnetism cleanses soul’s feral stains
there’s nothing we seek, nothing to be repulsed
Fingers in my hair, you’ll
Pull and turn me feral.
I’m young and stupid,
Still apologizing for the things you did
to me. To my body.
You tore open and called me ‘hottie’
between the feral
and the ethereal
lust and love
playoff
soul watches
with bated breath
but the fact there's a game on
signals it's yet work in progress

future society looking bleak,
feral children on the street
their rioting and running wild
blame the parent not the child.
Scumbag parents - do they care?
feral children everywhere.
