Premium Member Why are we here

Naked awareness
seeks to clothe itself with love
and so descends in this realm.

Bliss effervescence
caused when pheromones mingle
etches its scent in the void.

Etches

Etch the memories of your time, and see what you remember
How many pages can you fill, how many pictures
How many apologies, how many regrets
How many smiles, can you etch

Premium Member Heartache

Translucent living Signs of a screaming wild man Brought forth thru glimmering shades Skull larger than norm Primitive style of lost life Strangeness etches from his loins

Enemies

My enemies surround every element
Entirely never easing
Everywhere, each etching.
Etching at each easement
Envy etches each one.
Every Enemy!
Each enemy electrifies me.
Enemy no extra!
Each to easier existence!

New beginnings seep, twilight
etches skylines chilled..

receding like the tide
subtle and graceful
time etches in memory
while back on the shore
voices at a distance
are the mere background noise
of a life i left behind
and i feel complete

Kaleidoscope Pixies

Watching the sunlight shatter
and regroup to sliver again
in refractory bliss across the bay
evening shadows lengthen
and the kaleidoscope pixies
play across my eyes
while the silent hiss of suns' set
under rose and lavender skies
etches my life.

Pedestal Breaking

While I watch her, an adored jewel,
Flinging on with my old pal
She crashes from the pedestal,
Like a burst of glass
As love etches death on the alley.

Blushed

as mid-morning affairs paint me
with the passion of dawn's own rise
i soar, unveiled in depths, so free
as mid-morning affairs paint me
colorful are of the hands of he
who etches pulse through love's own eyes
as mid-morning affairs paint me
with the passion of dawn's own rise

Premium Member Mid-October Freckles

Orange mid-October freckles blemish the trees, while Jack Frost etches abstracts on cold window panes. And cinnamon-colored leaves fall with each brisk breeze as Winter subtly approaches, and Summer strains to maintain green canopies till November's freeze.

Premium Member Daily Dose of Legalese

Andrew was a wealthy lawyer's son
Began each day with his morning runs
Circumstantial evidence
Disguised as benevolence
Etches daily naughty legal puns

Premium Member A Simple Plan

Why fret the things you can't control

That daily stress will take its toll

It leaves you feeling out of place

And etches lines across your face

When life makes you want to wriggle

Take a breath and start to giggle

A simple plan I know it's true

But you'll live longer if you do

Time Sighs

Time flies, at least that's what they're saying
I'm not inclined to believe it soon
It etches slowly on, as if we're slowly dying
Trapped here in an endless turn of the moon

Time flies? I've been here forever now
Watching as clouds refuse to roll by
My eyes are tiring from the attempt
As the earth too lets out a sigh

December

Many drink to December;
Like last phase of ember days,
Rejoice, a step to cinders.
The smile of festive faces
Etches subtle lines, the frown
Of trying year, a furrow.
Traces of unrhymed rhythm
Of waves and of crest and trough,
Of a strange romance with time,
Chime a solemn distant toll,
Heralding our ember days.

Premium Member SCRIBBLING HOPE

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
morning frost etches promises on every windowpane~ a year unwritten, white as snowfall, quiet as the hush between breaths. dreamers and poets~ optimists scribbling hope with numb fingers, believing the cold will thaw into something we dare to name.
Shadows of Time
Thinking back on old times.
We don't remember days, we remember moments.
Each fleeting second etches it's mark on our hearts.
Whispers of laughter and tears softly linger, never apart.
Memories bloom eternally in the garden of our past.
Stay here with me, where time holds no sway.
In the embrace for our cherished moments, we'll never stray.
Premium Member What Does Poetry Mean To Me
I have loved you for a million verses
For you emancipate the breadth of my emotions
Each pen stroke etches the thoughts I contemplate
causing me to remember so many lives
Still I question these words you gift me
Have they always been hidden within me
Or perhaps I'm blessed to hear angels voices
Poetry, I pray that you will never abandon me
Through Her Eyes
in the depths
of her eyes
all i sense
is sadness
i'd like to
go backwards
through time
just to comfort her
i see the etches
of pain layered
deep within
little lines
from nimble hands
running along her edges
i see the scars
hidden beneath
the surface
and the emptiness
of dreams
within her eyes
in the depths
of her eyes
i now see me
The Jeweller
Seeing through the red filter
the sun reflecting on his
iris....
Viewing details through a
magnifying glass...
A microscope..
A jeweler forges his metal
Sets his stone.
Paying attention to detail
he etches every little hair,
every little speck.
Observing nature's moods,
shifts,changes,he records+
draws in his journal his
discoveries for this new
Season.
Pluming Porous Pawn
bruised brush bled
oozing, drooling dreg
puked pulpy pledges
wielded wits etches
hankering zeal hoisted
dribbling fiery drills
yearning fingers flickers
dragging moaning meter
delicate gaze glisters
gaunt grasped gibes
itching dainty drive
mystic art's aisle
crisp contractions yawns
pluming porous pawn.
My Daughter of Time
My Daughter of time
My daughter of 1989
The face that etches in mine
Can you not see my pain
Plastered on my sleeve
Why have you turned from mine
The time capsule so rare
Love define in our hearts
Forgotten on some hill
Please turn back 1989
Being there I am secure
Endure the emotion of play
Please turn back and stay
My Daughter of 1989
