Premium Member A Dislodged Honeycomb
A honeycomb dislodged
By a hurled pebble
One too many angry bees bothered!

Premium Member Narcissist Impulse

Time turns on wrinkled canvas,
winter spider in twilight hour
weaves senility web,
empty eyes wander in wasteland.
Hedonist psyche refuses
to gauge the grief of loss.
Face morphs into metaphor
for the past panorama dislodged,
captured in the snapshot
of narcissist impulse congealed.

Without Pain Or Joy
Without pain or joy
Long time since soul dislodged up
From this body out of favor
And without own activity

Long time that old days
Condense mixed nostalgia
In thick dissatisfied droplets
In such modern home

Without pain or joy
Long time that equal distribution
Of bread crumbs was one day
To all it took...

Premium Member Remorse For Past Deeds
Deep regrets lying dormant in the mind,
Stifle the thought processes lodging there
They mingle not with concepts refined,
Unless dislodged, they foster grim despair.
Remorse for past deeds you cannot repair
Will seriously tarnish your delicate soul
And from your good life take a bitter toll.

Curiosity, you’re a sharp knife
You cut to probe deep, to see inside
The privacy,
The ego makes
Hidden behind the mask
People wear, … alluringly captivating :
The Sea of Mystery, with the rolling waves of
Undefined charm, does it break
Return to the sea? The uncovered sands
Dislodged have no place to hide.

Cupid's Con
My Cynthia gone,
Now dead to me.
Wondrous beauty –
Eyes of an Angel,
Heart of Gold.

She knew her power,
I let her.
Beginning of the end.

Skydiving from the moon to
Hades itself.
Impossible ecstasy,
Unfathomable loss.

The arrow dislodged
from her alone.
A pawn to her whims.
But I have a new goddess now,
And the spell is almost broken....

Ephemera
You and I
 Are here and gone
In the breath of a lie
In the space of a song

 Overturned and reversed
By the force of a spell
In the lull of a curse
In the toll of a bell

 Instantly changed
 Sown or dispersed
 Our souls rearranged
 In a rueful dirge

You and I in the rain
 Without eye or limb
 Dislodged and deranged
 We move like the wind

Premium Member Love Is Actually a River
The banks are eroded by the swelling river
On surging water the dislodged soils ride
Unsure if they would disappear in sea forever
Or would build a new land somewhere with pride.
Lost love makes livid grief break the heart in splinter
On upwelling tears the distraught emotions glide
Unsure if they would disappear somewhere within
Or would build a new heart that won’t break again.

Ductile banks are eroded by swelling stream, on the surging water the dislodged soils ride, unsure if they’d disappear in sea with dream, or would create a new land somewhere with pride. Lost love the broken heart can’t ever redeem, on upwelled tears the distraught emotions glide, unsure if they would get lost in soul opaque, or would build a new heart that won’t again break.

The River Bed
Riffles, catching debris as it passes.
Holding on to that which seems small
Only to be dislodged when bigger comes

Tiny and precious can dwell deep down
Only to be washed out by a flood
Disrupting patterns disrupting patterns

Then calm ensues, new patterns emerge
That which was hidden emerges
But with that a new path is forged

A new stream to wash away
Make a new place for settlement
And once again the life path flows...

Premium Member Unsure Calling
The river in spate erodes the bare banks,
in gushing waters the dislodged soil sails,
unsure if it would disappear in sea forever,
or would build a new land somewhere far.
The surge of sorrow splinters yearning heart,
in the stream of tears shards of emotion drift,
unsure if they'd dissolve somewhere within,
or make a new heart that won’t break again.

Unlucky Me
While gazing at the sky
A gnat flew in my eye
Causing me to wince in pain

Using the faucet spout
I tried to flush it out
So I could see clear again

When the gnat was dislodged
It came out very smudged
Like a soggy wet wheat grain

When next I watched the sky
A bird pooped in my eye
So I had to flush again

I must be unlucky
For what happened to me
Because it had me in pain

So when birds are on high
And there are gnats nearby
Caution I have to maintain...

A Game of Feelings
The smile on my face,
That makes me tremble
Do I own them?
My love turned out to be as thin as a paper,
torn into pieces, and became fainter.
The drastic change it brought,
broke something inside my vault
without any noise...ssshhh
You awakened this heart,
and later dismantled the emotions
leaving it dislodged.
The broken fantasies,
that keeps digging cavities
destroys my vanity.
Walking those forbidden paths
that haunts me from time to time
why can't you just stay benign ?...
