Eternal now
Light fades
To darkness
Collapsing structures
Shifting dimensions
Poltergeists have
Tantrums in
The Ether
The lies that touched your lips-
mellifluous offerings of honey
that drew me in like a bee,
How could one’s poison
taste like something I wanted?
Some days it just doesn't go
Often when it rains or snows...
Storm clouds gather in the skies of my brain
Releasing rivers of self-pity and pain
Death is dark,Life is light ,and light shines brighter than the night-Live
PS: For Silent One's Contest: Death,Life Or Both One Liner.
Sesame Street has gone rogue.
Surly nasty nightmares stir into my darkness.
Sleep will not come easy.

The thrill and the high
Need to be in with the crowd
Knowledge, denial
Drugs and life out of control
To soon their potential…lost

Hill moon eclipsed in the rain-filled blue clouds
Dark and light play in the boughs
Old owl plays the sitar

Man sits in shadows
Darkness consumes all of him…

Enveloped in black
Darkness of a living death
The black shroud tightens
Heightened frenzy of thrashing
Pinned in the arms of Black Knight

How is it that greed
corrodes thus the heart
that so many are willing
to compromise thoughts of afterlife
so easily discarding aspirations
for eternal peace ?

The Old Man has never
walked on the Moon
but he has crapped his pants
and he has puked on his wife's shoes
but after drinking a bottle of whiskey
The Old Man killed it when he played the blues.
Darkness
A locus for expression of tears
Muffled thoughts grow vociferous
Suppressed emotions arise uprighteous
Societal demands and self interests lock horns
only to be put to rest before dawn
Sky wallows near black
The darkness does shine nearby
Black envelopes throughout it
Couple walks within
On snowy surface they stroll
Near dusk the darkness folds in

visions of himself
a life of broken fragments
palette toned sepia.
a sense of menace
depresses anticlimax
master of his moods.
he realizes
not all quests are quixotic
some are doomed to fail.
An expressive place
A dark forest late at night
Just a torch to see
The path badly overgrown
Looks hopeless yet is calming

wispy green tendrils
flicker & frolic
in sunny
capricious breezes

a brief glimpse of harmony
a brief glimpse of life...

Can we just not talk ?
Everything that will come up
you will only accuse and not understand.
All I got under my feet are unfriendly rock.
And there is no one to light the dark life
that settled on my land.

Shadow Love
Just follow, follow a lost life
Grey walk, dark, shadow life
Where? Where? Where is life?
There is no life. Remaining dark
A heart loved. Just for you
Touch it. Opens dark love
I love you
Dark life
dark places find me
as a result of myself
dark places bind me
i give them all the wealth
dark places grind me
the unpredictability stirs my stealth
dark places remind me
modern stressful times are really effecting my health
Night creature
Forsaken
Slithering
Unperceived
Charging through
Machinelike
Stealth engine
Frozen breath
Smoldering
Steely eyes
Dark life form
Growing near
Fire spitting
Dragon breath
Snuffling prey

Thickest mist will hide the way,
Gold has turned to leaden grey.
Forest paths begin to bend,
Seeking for a hidden end.
Voices whisper from the deep,
Promises they never keep.
Heart is heavy like a stone,
Walking in the dark alone.
The Dark And The Light
I am a poet nether dark or light,
but then there are days, that is what I write.
So when in the sun and everything’s bright,
that’s what I sing in the dark of the night.

Distilled sun invades
to project on whitewashed screen their
chintzy-hotel love,
melding the serenading shades.

wandering labyrinths of light
leading to dead-end darkness
feeling the cold walls of fright
turning to a hushed silence
finding love gives way to life
transforming through my essence
holding her close in my night
filling it with her presence
