Well this certainly is bleak... I like the emotions you portray in this. Someone brooding and ravaging in the ignorance of shadows... it may be BLISS, but it's only temporary... not long lasting in any sense. Awesome senryu!

Ah, great write Russell. I can sense the brooding the man does, and you capture the spiritual nature of this darkness with the reference to the crow. A Native American vibe to this one in a way. Great write, loved it.
