Limbs
I saw that the tree limbs were dessicated
and in need of removal
... just chop it off
I imagined cutting off a limb or piece that I no longer
needed
and how badly that would suck...

Worry
Like a boa constrictor
Coiling round its prey
Cutting off the blood supply.
Negative emotions slowly
Squeeze out all life.
Agony and anxiety
Ultimately kills hearts.
Life is extinct.
Don't worry yourself to death....

Nine Volt Apology
Swallow my PRIDE
It tastes like copper pennies
Find the words to apologize
My tongue is numb with apprehension
I dont remember chewing on a nine-volt
The sting cutting off my breath
My mind swimming with everything left unsaid....

A leaf, floating downwards, comes to rest upon grass. Escapee cutting off the bonds, unaware of its impending demise; the umbilical cord severed, now page-pressed memory; dried skin cracking, A leaf.

Deservedly
A poet’s a thief with a knife,
Cutting off pieces of life
Belonging to woman or man,
Running as fast as he can.

A poet’s a sin-happy saint,
Clown covered up with green paint,
A sadist, a soldier, a fool—
Poet’s get kicked out of school....

Freedom
cutting off my collar,
from my leash i now am free,
if you're going to use a rope,
then hang me in a tree,
silence is my saftey,
people are my vow,
i've forgotten how to speak,
but you didn't listen anyhow.

i know, i know spelling issues....

Death Sentence
Death sentence

Heads hang
High
With tears
Of rain
Pouring on their face.

The woven knot
Is tied around necks,
Tightening slowly
Cutting off circulation
From their brains
Down to their feet.

Feeling their pulse
Slow with a deep
Chilling demand for death....

DIVORCE
Divorcing her or him can cause wounds
In the hearts deeply , while reminding some
Verses shared on the same bed at nights
Or after taking dinners ...as the great
Relationship will be off line for longtime,
Cutting off links with the one you loved on this
Earth , memories hunt divorcees for long periods....

Ruins
Ruins

Ancient ruins of Smyrna are threatened by war
they might be blown up by those who want history
to start now cutting off the umbilical cord of yesterday
and we are all victim of the day before. Yet, sad as
it might be everything will be dust, we should lament
but not cry, as we would the death of a child....

Personal Heat
It is 94 degrees and mostly sunny
Though my skin is like smouldering burned cookies
After the fire department sprayed water on top

Time is now for my personal heat
Others are cool and calm while I melt into my seat
Hide the scissors cause I feel like cutting off my hair
Winter is for me this season
Maybe I'll move to Greenland....

Master of Puppets
Cutting off the taunt lead lines
See how Thy card house just folds
Busted nose, thy marble shrines
now covered with story molds

Hold thyself up full of holes
Stiff lips and wooden stances
Like a dull actor's best roles
Regret thy second chances

Marionettes dance their parts
in our ticker tape parades
upon many jigsaw hearts
thy porcelain feet parades...

Clown Shoes
(This is a fictional poem)

My feet are so big that I have to wear clown shoes.
People keep pointing and laughing, what am I going to do?
Some people think that I'm Bigfoot when they see my footprints.
They shoot first and ask questions later, it's very intense.
One man shot me in the ___ and I can still feel the heat.
I wish somebody would help me by cutting off my damn feet....

My Life Portrays An Ocean
My life portrays an ocean
So powerful, so strong
Breaking the sharp cliffs into rocks
As I go on
I am smooth yet I am gentle
Flowing with a smooth pace
Cutting off the sharp rocks
Into smooth round face
Ocean is a reassuring friend
And an unbeatable foe
So gentle, it tickles
So strong it breaks through
My life portrays an ocean
So powerful, so strong
Changing the face of world
As I go on....

Hope
Heavy white landscape
Thick and impenetrable
Closing in
Cutting off
Swirling, biting
Unfriendly frost

Lost and unsure
Despair creeping in
Sleep so inviting
A way for it to end
Sinking lower and lower
Drowning in tears

For a moment you look up
And a new dawn is breaking
Fighting back the cold
The sun overtaking
Let go of doubts
Dwell not on fears
A new day will rise
From the ashes of nightmares...

Premium Member She Was the Power of the Throne
She listened to him grovel,
realizing he deserved no mercy
she recognized him from another time
the court was watching
so she pretended to be considering his plea
all the time plotting a slow unnatural painful death
for this conniver, fraud, and freakish abuser of women
Glad to be the power of the throne now,
holding herself back from instantly cutting off his head
for she wanted him to have a very slow demise....

The Vineyard of She
She O She
was hungry for love O she
jealously; cutting off for no god damn reason
makes She bleed
dark hair lovely as a horse mane
death is become of her since man's shame
O Beloved!
how wrong of you to cut it off
for its written for she and hymns to be written in songs
ointment can only tell how the walk is far
"should I bake bread by the apple tree
or see a heaven which always loves me?"

The Vineyard of She...

Looking For An Augury
Relieving from sorrows of ‘samsara’
Looking for an augury
Wasted Time is up
I will not close my eyes
Looking at the eyes of Buddha
Immersing in the
Overflowing metta stream
Enlightening the mind

Wash the dirt off
Awakening the five faculties
Taking the piety flowers
Blooming in the heart
Offer Buddha feet

Locate in Ariya path
Leading to Nirvana relief
Cutting off ‘Raga’ suffers
Wrapping my body
Worship Buddha feet...

Premium Member The Basket of Deplorables
Hillary referred to half of the voters as a “basket of deplorables,”
Grossly generalizing Trump’s supporters as not so adorable.
She is cutting off her nose to spite her face,
There are many who are undecided in this political race.

That is such a low opinion of the American people.
Hillary must not feel that U.S. citizens are equal.
Maybe what will sway the vote is her e-mail scandal…
It is just too much for the enlightened voter to handle....

Premium Member Spring Gardening
Raking out the garden,
Straightening the stones,
Thinning the perennials,
Removing old dog bones.

Cutting off dead branches,
Clearing out the hedge,
Burning all the rubbish,
Straighten gardens edge.

The air is finally warmer.
Spring flowers raise their heads.
The Tulips and the Hyacinths first,
To look up from their beds.

Next the Daffodils break ground,
Soon to raise their sunny faces,
And I rush to prepare the ground,
Make ready all their places....

August 18
Climbing, clawing my way out of a thorn bush…
scratches, bleeding – trying to escape.
The thorns engulf me, like a quicksand…
I can not breathe.
I can not escape.

the vines, like hands and arms… wrapping around me…
	squeezing… tighter and tighter –
cutting off life….
cutting off the air that I need to be me.

Let me be…
Leave me alone.
Let me breathe…
can’t you see that I am scorned.

Will never be left alone in this life that has taken over -
taken on a life of its’ own....
