Hope
Heavy white landscape
Thick and impenetrable
Closing in
Cutting off
Swirling, biting
Unfriendly frost
Lost and unsure
Despair creeping in
Sleep so inviting
A way for it to end
Sinking lower and lower
Drowning in tears
For a moment you look up
And a new dawn is breaking
Fighting back the cold
The sun overtaking
Let go of doubts
Dwell not on fears
A new day will rise
From the ashes of nightmares
