Death Sentence

Death sentence

Heads hang
High
With tears
Of rain
Pouring on their face.

The woven knot
Is tied around necks,
Tightening slowly
Cutting off circulation
From their brains
Down to their feet.

Feeling their pulse
Slow with a deep
Chilling demand for death.
