Atlanta
Atlanta, Georgia
Is filled with some smart people
The parks offer peace
'Til someone is killed by guns
Sometimes~stabbing, girl and dog
Nearly every night or even in daylight someone is killed in the Atlanta area (including several towns and counties), sometimes in twos....

It does matter if weigh 150 pounds or 350 Pounds we are still the same

The Cookies
Bird food bought instead
Of cookies, no dread
Of eating them at tea or
Snack, I'll make brownies
Ride over the counties
Maybe do fun chores galore
Who am I kidding
Can't do forbidding
I'll just eat so much, much more
Maybe some apples
Dipped so they're dappled
No, I'm trapped just as before ...

We, Conjurers
We, the conjurers
The USA wants Venezuela
And the worlds` press follow suit
demanding an undemocratic coup.
We have been here before
we remember the vilifying of Iraq
and Libya those two counties were lied about
before being invaded and occupied.
Our compliance with this crime is staggering
and do nothing for peace in the world....

What Is the Little Chair For
What is the little chair doing on that tree?
What little chair? I have no idea what he means.
He points it out.
Oh, that’s for squirrels to sit on while they eat a cob of corn.
You put the cob on the spike in front of the chair.
His grin is amazingly wide now.
I knew it’d be something like that, Grandma.
His delight shows two counties away.
I hope to never disappoint him....

England Recited
ENGLAND,
My England
Rainsoaked fields,pastel green,
perennial impressions
of country scenes.
Shire counties cramped
and compact,neither temperate,
changeable and in exact.
Seasons merging into one,
winters' mild,summers
of sometime sun.
Ancient,historic and
quaintly modern,
pub-grub,village greens
and cricket squares sodden.
Listen to me read this poem on youtube under the name ichthyschiro...

Met My New Car Today
Met my new car today
Someone drove it from four counties away
It is gorgeous I need to say
If it was not so freak’n hot
I’d be out there all day
Glad I got rid of all my hairs gray
Feeling younger in every way
Such a pretty red; I want to bray
No buyer’s remorse, eager to pay.
For this gorgeous red car that likes to sashay
Feeling pretty full of myself today
Driving my Lincoln down by the bay....

One Man Banned
Hear the music,
be the dancer,
never seek the necromancer
swing away to Northern counties
where they have no written bounties
on your head
though you can't clear it
all that's left is sword and spirit.
Don't return until I call you,
something magic may befall you.
Evil seeks to hold your hand,
now you are the one man banned,
until Merlin waves his wand
and brings you home,
you must be gone....

Gratitude
Thoracic clouds stream
Healthy with motion
In wisps of whipped cream
Slinging dew potion
Lifting flower face
Open to receive
Veritas of grace
Exultant to heave
Wilted decays past
Insolvent in debt
Letting fortune last
Longer than regret
Salvaged from bounties
Across the divide
Valued in counties
Ever to provide
Legacies of truth
In churning reason
Fetching hidden youth
Each passing season....

When Dynamite Was Legal
Fourth of July and dynamite
Major bang for your night
Half stick, whole stick
One stick, two sticks did the trick
Blew the stump sky high and in a hover
Sent those men running under cover
God protected those pyrotechies
The rumble was felt all over the counties

Ten Lives In Alabama
There’s ten lives in Alabama,
That lost their lives yesterday.
An afternoon of bloodshed,
With innocent lives at bay.
A terrifying rampage,
Three communities in shock.
For two Alabama counties,
Were plagued of random shots.
In four different locations,
A repeated tragic panorama.
My heart goes out to the families,
Of the ten lives in Alabama.

an appalling tragedy......

An English Ode
Rainsoaked fields,pastel green,
perennial impressions of country scenes.
Shire counties cramped and compact,
neither temperate,changeable and in exact.
Seasons merging into one,
winters' mild,summers of sometime sun.
Ancient,historic and quaintly modern,
pub-grub,village greens and cricket squares sodden.
Precedent law,judged by our peers,
diverse opinions expressed sans fear.
Reserved,resolved and resolute anglais
with national flag but no national day....

Bio
Irish Ladies
The ultimate Irish holiday,
known as St. Patrick's Day,
is quickly on its way.
So here is what I'll say:
There are twenty-six counties in the Republic, and six counties in the north.
That makes a total of thirty-two where Irish ladies can come forth.
They are some of the loveliest women I have ever seen.
These sweethearts don't always have to wear green.
It doesn't matter if they come from Dublin, Belfast, or Galway;
these wonderful women aim to please on any day.
