What Is the Little Chair For

What is the little chair doing on that tree? What little chair? I have no idea what he means. He points it out. Oh, that’s for squirrels to sit on while they eat a cob of corn. You put the cob on the spike in front of the chair. His grin is amazingly wide now. I knew it’d be something like that, Grandma. His delight shows two counties away. I hope to never disappoint him.

You do realize, to him, Grandma has all the answers. She is always right. She is Encyclopedia Americana and Britannica in one solid mind. Well, it's true!
