Value Of Life, A Question

Were I wizened, not shackled to mordacious horde,
I'd not loiter to elicit trifle rewards,
With my one cartridge, could I, end life sadly bored?

He said "she writes with broken pens"
He thinks his cartridge died so he's looking for the end
She typed 'I love you' but she never did press send
She's ready to give up, and she's looking for the end

As if shackled to the bench
the wizened loiter, a mordacious horde,
prone to ellicit lies that trifle
with an empty cartridge chamber.

Eight Is Enough

Eight wizened words to elicit thoughts mordacious.
Not shackled to the horde, a trifle bit audacious.
The cartridge to loiter, waiting, bored, to fire out rhymes vexatious.

Premium Member Conceited Love

What ills you elicit with your mordacious tongue
shackled am I, while you trifle with my love.
You horde my affections with a cartridge of conceit
then loiter in self pity as I, wizened, exit with relief.

Cross Hairs

High caliber verse
  the cartridge hand loaded

A new target centered
  all focus then squared

Its barrel’s been filled
  with red molten fury

Whose trigger awaits
  —a desperate will

Joy

Wizened and shackled by a human horde
They elicit mordacious comments
While trapping such warmth
Imprisoned in a heartless cartridge
Soon to be shot to extinction
They loiter in the world
Finding any and all feelings trifle

The In Between

Oh, Middle School child
you “in between”
shackled to the horde
like a cartridge to a gun,
to trifle, loiter in halls,
and elicit mordacious slurs to
wizened eyed mentors.

Premium Member Why I Thank God

A cartridge filled with a horde of shackled emotions, am I,

Trifle feelings loiter within me... until you elicit them out,

Wizened by time, you know that otherwise I might turn mordacious;

Thank God I found you, my dear Muse.

'Freedom Fighters'

The mordacious horde had spent the last cartridge

to loiter or elicit partisan justice the mob dithered

then they shackled their foes to be wizened in time

Families died in any case regardless of a trivial trifle

86 Weeds

I take controlled and specific aim near the shackled flowers
Where the horde of wizened weeds loiter and elicit strangulation
My cartridge carefully loaded with mordacious poison
You shall not trifle, nor stifle my blooms, Here's to your cessation!

Guns Don'T Kill People

Guns don't kill people
But bullets do
So keep all your guns
But make bullets taboo

Restrict cartridge sales
Like any jet flight
With proof of ID
& registered right

Limit each purchase
To registered guns
Make mothers happy
With long-living sons

Bullets kill loved ones
& people we know
So give every shooter
A tough row to hoe!

A Bird of Note

It may seem a trifle to the horde -
Or perhaps mere mordacious wit.
But I, wizened more than most afford,
Was not shackled by some rhyme unfit.

He let his brain loiter as he wrote -
Hoping his pen would elicit praise.
"Cartridge", said he, "is a bird of note"
But I've put one in guns all my days

Barode

1.A misfire is when the primer fails to ignite the powder.
2.Hang fire is when the primer has struck the bullet and cause delay.
3.That would depend on why the cartridge failed to fire.
4.Did it fail to fire because the primer failed to ignite?
5.Did it fail to fire because the powder fail to ignite?
Note. There are dozens of reasons why a primer struck cartridge wouldn’t fire.

Premium Member The Stubborn Pen

A frustrated poet had a paralyzed pen.
She wailed, “When you will move, when!”
The pen with sad eyes, looked up in dismay
“Mistress,my brain cartridge is empty this day.”

She knew there were phone calls to be made.
Plus, had to hang up a lovely, new blue shade.
Clothes to be washed, her hungry cat to be fed.
So~she with joy, jumped out of her poetic dread.

Senate Hall

As security officers loiter around,
Hordes of audience troop into the hall,
The intimidating presence of these men
Shackled many as if they were prisoners,
The cartridge of one of them makes me
trifle anxious with fear,
A wizened reporter couldn’t elicit any response
from the senator as he makes a mordacious
comment on the scandal ;
which pissed him off, and the crowd grumbled..
