Value of Life, a Question

Value Of Life, A Question

Were I wizened, not shackled to mordacious horde,
I'd not loiter to elicit trifle rewards,
With my one cartridge, could I, end life sadly bored?

If it was for shortness only this would be amazing, but it rhymes too, congrats on a fine win!

: ) Robert, I gave up on this contest seeing some of my fellow Soupers whacking out good three-liners. I think Freddie's response, below, is perfect.

Powerful, simply powerful, Robert. The vital existential questions raised in this short dynamic poem is mind blowing, pardon the veiled pun. Excellent poem on a consciousness raising level. Love and joy to you.

Thank you Freddie. I had hope to put power into the piece and elicit profound considerations of such a sad and tragic act if one decides to end their own life. In my long life, I have known over a dozen people that have done so.. Yet, still it is HARD TO GRASP..
