Evading the Horrors of the Holocaust

hidden not to elicit 
a trifle response
spiteful mordacious
shackled on a horde race

cartridge loiter about the ground 
wizened with years

This is my kind of poem, Eve. Love trying to read between the lines and letters. I believe John will appreciate this, I know I certainly do. Without purporting to have properly interpreted your poem, I'll say the final two lines provided me with the image of a cemetery accumulating the decaying artifacts of our "wisdom". Beautifully penned
