Why I Thank God

A cartridge filled with a horde of shackled emotions, am I,

Trifle feelings loiter within me... until you elicit them out,

Wizened by time, you know that otherwise I might turn mordacious;

Thank God I found you, my dear Muse.

Well composed poem, Jo. Made great turn of phrases w/pre-selected words. Very creatively done. It's the mark of a talented poetess. Lovely inspirational poem for poets. Love always.

Am impressed how you incorporated the key words into a cohesive narrative, but still managed to keep it concise. Congratulations on your First Place win.

Very well done, using the words given. My muse and I often battle to win out on how long a poem should be, I being a bit lazy, more often go for shorter poems..lol Very creative entry in that contest.. I must go look at its requirements. A7

This is a good poem, though, I am somewhat wizened by its familiarity...Ahh, such foolish banter.
