Cactus stand guard in the desert heat,
their shadows trembling on pale sand,
silence holding its breath.
Prickly plant,
reminds me
of my heart;
Sharpened, tough;
Time thickened,
weakening;
Falling for
a flooding
cactus cry.
The west wind did whine
Blowing past a cactus thorn
The subdued sun pined
The sun’s shimmer fell to west
The sun’s shadow fell to east

The land is arid, you seldom drink

Sand dunes far as I can see.
Suddenly appears a cactus flower.
