Did you hear?
What was that?
The wild wind?

Here I stand,
with flowers,
all colors.

A rose talks,
lilies sing,
cactus cry.

Cactus cry, he should! Maybe because he didn't mean to get a million little stickers in the poor little hand that tried to pet it's deceptively furry soft looking little Teddybear Cactus self... true story...my poor little son! I love that the rose talks and lilies sing, such a cute poem Paula!

Cactus cry. Can imagine that. I used to grow cactus from seed on my roof. Now I stay down stairs. Still have a few though.

Oh, Paula, this is just wonderful. I love the conversational first stanza and the personification of the flowers! With your love of flowers, I can just see you reveling as you stand "with the flowers." Have a wonderful weekend perhaps visiting a garden. Blessings my floral friend.
