A Grunt and a Push

There once was a young man from Peru
Who ate a cactus plant he couldn't chew---
With a grunt and a push
  It came out his tush---
In the ER, instead of the loo.

Got to watch out for those Cactus Gershon. Not only do they have thorns but sometimes they can have some hallucinatory effects. A humorous limerick ...Maria :)

Had never heard of the hallucinatory effects before. Thanks for the enlightenment, Maria!...No wonder our 'Peruvian' wound up in the ER. Thanks for checking in! :) gw

That is brilliant, Gershon - especially once I finally read it as E R instead of "err" LOL I have to FAVE it.

Brilliant? a Fave? ---Peru is finally gaining some recognition I see...As for ER vs. E R: I used the form that I've seen in print promotions for the TV series of that name. I've also seen E/R occasionally... Sorry for any confusion!). Thank you, Line, as always. :) Gershon
