A train whistles its presence
Quickly rushing on

Step around the bend
Look at what’s going on there

Round the Bend

there is never an end in sight

Trump Rules Bend and System Upend

Trump Rules Bend and System Upend

While rules Trump will want to bend,
Had insulted and system did upend,
And a decoy;
Does annoy;
Told many lies which he did intend.

Bend In the Wind

Creativity is the bend
In the way of the wind

To make static in the fabric
Of your life or your soul

And know this when you find it
All you can do is stand behind it

Creatively stand back
And watch it grow

Bend You

it isnt about me as much
as it is about you
i share my life and bleed as such
to let you know its true
this pain i thought would never pass
i see it never will
so learn to bend, like blades of grass
or watch your sorrow fill.

An Ode Notion of Medicine

What there is to offer a help,
and proffer a profile (drugs) and solutions,
to life and its problems and tip,
do I know whether notions?,
one now I found and read and meditate,
that if men and women left this way,
still offer to relocate...?.

Premium Member Thanksgiving's Round the Bend

How can it be, dear
    Halloween's drawing near

  Thanksgiving then
will be just round the bend

  Perhaps Labor Day we skipped
or out of July fourth were gypped

All I know is 2021's mistletoe
is still atop our hearth all aglow

Premium Member I Bend

Nighttime breezes
Blow through the trees
Calling out my name
Telling me
This life of mine
Will never be the same

The wind of change
Sways through my life
It leaves less than it takes
Life is hard
So the question is…
Do I bend, or do I break

I bend!

The Reeds Bend the Wind

… the reeds bend the wind
G. Milev

where the blue is a mirage
for the forehead bent
the man is undressed
and dry soil drops out of his lips
the sadness is an illusion for those ones
who clench the shores with their teeth
and the articulated reeds swing…
sad

Knees Up

There are some looked down their nose in the troubled Covid times at those who bump elbows as opposed to shaking hands so with a bend let's start a trend a new fad across the land and instead if you please why don't we lift a leg and all knock knees

wind rises behind me, a gentle insistence against my spine~ not a command, but a direction. it threads through the grass, touches my shoulders, and nudges me toward whatever waits beyond the next bend. no map. no promise~ only the soft certainty that some paths are chosen by the wind itself.

River's Bend

I am sorry they found you,you were at rest
where you wanted to be ,surely they jest?
But no it's true they found your remains
taking you away from your watery domain
in the river's bend, but I know you will always be there
                where your soul did descend.
