In their hiding places
solitaires shine silences
how many absences inhabit them ?...

Thread
50N sulfuric acid
If sprayed on any fabric
Instantly turns it to rags
Just like some absences
Which sweep as a storm
N'tatter our souls
Bruise our hearts
Up to
shreds....

Premium Member Cold Years Quiet Times
days pass
   times past,
glide by,
so slow
 is life in the
         shadow:
lyrical times
   long forgotten
absences no
     more remembered:
a blank future
     lies ahead,
an empty wasteland
of cold years...

Now

This is not a
Sliver of time..
But the Field
Containing all time
(And space..by the way)
You and I
Are this Field
This Now
Which is waiting
For our Recognition..
For when Recognized
All absences and departs
Paint our Now with
Memories now made of
Now......

Existence of Silence In the Worlds
Silence is dressed in emptiness,
walk the opened paths
of further silences and absences...
Does not produce smells, and neither
spreads visions...
But it felt concretely
by the most thinking minds
and suffering creatures...
Noble but strange circumstance
this is the existence of silence
in all worlds... !...

Wild Nature
In virgin forest
            there are...
            Scary silence,
            endless voids,
            relentless density...
            quiet beasts alone,
            wild beasts on the prowl...
            Visible impossibilities,
            extreme absences... and me
            no birds on the shoulders,
           hunter of me...!...

Inspiration
Onion skin pages and empty windows
Repel us as much as attract—
Possess brief images locked fast in place—
Memory melded in faded photographs of thought.

We are things we once were—
Frozen kaleidoscopes of dreams
Cupping eyes and pens so tightly,
Casting free flaxseeds of imagination.

Still, sepia leaves seem white-boned
And open windows let in absences....

Today
I didn't desire to live today
just of memories...
Today I didn't wish
absences...
Today I wanted
attendance... and do
happen time...
Today I didn't desire
dream your kisses,
I wanted to kiss you
strongly...
Today I didn't wish
lock myself in fears...
I wanted to break the hull,
reveal the veiled,
unravel the
secrets...
Today, I wanted
actually
to live...!...

To Live An Adventure
Today I didn't desire to live on
 memories ...
Today I didn't need the
absences ...
Today I wanted
presences ... and compel
the time to come ...
I didn't wish for
dream your kisses,
I wanted to kiss you
with intensity ...
Today I didn't intend to be
locked in fears ...
I wanted to break the hull,
reveal the veiled,
unveil the
secrets ...
Today, I wanted
truly
to live an adventure...!...

Silence
absence of sound
waves moving yet stil
sea is undergoing a turmoil
no signs of storm yet
far yet close
distances seem near
numbness encroaching
absences of sound still no calmness
subtle voices heard
silences kills me and all
silence is a conversation
being having without a sound
silence is a mystery
that goes unsolved
silences is a weapon
it pierces me....
its something that ceases to exist........

This Time
AS LONG AS I BREATHE AGAIN.
YOUR LOVE WILL NO LONGER HURT ME.
I LIVE BY DAY WANTING YOU TO LOVE ME.
GIVING YOU MY HEART TO LOVE ME FOR ME.

I NEED YOUR NEED TO HOLD ME CLOSER TO YOU.
THE MORE I HOLD ON TO YOU, I LOSE YOUR LOVE.
MY EYES CRY DAY AND NIGHT FROM LONELINESS.
I DESPAIR IN HATRED OF YOU AND YOUR ABSENCES.
ALL I DO IS LOVE AND WANT YOU MORE.
THIS TIME I WILL LIVE NOT BY YOUR LOVE THIS,
BY MY LOVE....

Foreboding
Death burns
holes in my mortal heart—
I am not opposed to it
yet I detest how it looms over
everything and everyone
I love.

How I cringe
thinking about how
in this lifetime I will
face more absences,
more voids, more tears.

It is the
foreboding of
a storm—the clouds
form gradually, making
you so very alive and
so very aware—
yet you do not feel
the true impact of
the blow until
it rains.

Death In Exile
He had pulled in many springs
but failed to find a heaven.
Asked not to look away. In

absences he tried to enter
the wounds again. An aboriginal
pain flies over my shoulder.

A spiritual failure of mankind ?
Counting unctuously the birds nesting
on an invisible tree.

This narration has no vocabulary.
Only oily sounds of original
lunacy. You want to cover

an empty canvas. A self-portrait
was abandoned after
the cloudburst of slogans.

Scintilla of Faith
in memories a scintilla of faith
momentarily sustains surging tears
as the pulse of darkness awakens wraith
erasing the distance of lonely years
your voice befalls the silence my soul hears
in the absences death has bequeathed me,
i linger on the edges of time's quay
crawling along these worthless grains of sand
awaiting whatever shall come to be
too empty to care, too fragile to stand

Reciprocity
Throuch life we seek
company for our intimate absences,
Presence for our uncertainties...
We seek in others, the word
that takes us to the future and unburdens us
the hurts...
We seek company for our emptiness,
prestige for our missteps,
applause for our mistakes...
That, we seek, but almost never
We offer in return...
Reciprocity we almost always erase...
But isn't that what they're also looking for in us?
We are what we offer... this law is fundamental!...

Hard Work
From long nights,
To hard work.
I’ve put my best foot forward,
Striding into my future.

I’ve cancelled plans,
Missed meals,
And gone without sleep,
But man this feeling.
It’s one you can’t beat

They say they’re proud.
I’ve really turned my life around.
From frequent absences,
Missing assignments,
And constant tardy’s.

 All my Blood,
All that Sweat,
And All those Tears
Over the years.
None going to waste,
They motivated me to win this race....

Premium Member Too Late To Make Things Right
The young go-getter reached the ladder’s top rung
by making work his foremost purpose in life.
Lengthy absences from wife and children stung,
but wealth he provided outweighed any strife,
so he thought. To his work-first ethic he clung
till poor health and retirement cut like a knife.
Loved ones’ aloofness cuts deeper. He has found
the saying’s true: What goes around comes around.
