In her resting place — she’d toy with shadows, matchsticks and glow in the dark paint. Out and about — she’d fly through the night, wax her teeth and loudly sip her straw. A mordacious-red stain upon her tongue. 1/29/2018 Brian Strand’s Premiere Contest 125 Sevenling Poem

Blue Lights in the rear view
wishing he could drive

dump it into 5th, kick in turbo rpm's
rocket blast blows Blue Lights

He Won'T Touch Me Because I'M Fat
I gained some weight recently.
I've been exercising and eating less..
It doesn't help.
I looked into my family history.
I'm doomed to be short and fat.
I'm five feet tall.
I already weigh 135 pounds.
And I'm growing.
Out. Not up.
My boyfriend doesn't touch me anymore.
He says it's because we argue.
We don't argue more than usual.
But by the time I hit 125...
Nah, he doesn't touch me now.
I'm doomed......

Premium Member The Chisel
Familiarity
Can sometimes be
A chisel
That slowly chips away
At human souls
Stripping first the aura
Then splintering
The shiny, pearly shell
To finally bear
The red, raw meat
That often brings contempt.
