Shockwave Poems

The Scientist

They say the Scientist has a cold gaze
but that is not so.
He doesn't have a gaze.

All he has is an observation.
He doesn't look with his eyes or even his glasses.

He takes delight in filtered structural compositions
devoid of uncertainty.

He pauses the shockwave and expands the fireball.
He displaces the atoms within.

Misses MadHatter

Drag blade into coliseum gates red,
crimson armor and black carbon metal,
adore my frame as a scarlet knight bred.
Toothy grin, Cheshire eyes, test thy mettle.

Burst petals onyx
Shockwave from footfall rumbles
It’s a massacre

Titan comes through the open maw, eyes glow,
grip tightening on handle, breaths calm down.
Stand before a giant cape, outstretched flow,
smirk plays a curl on my lips, blade in ground.

Juke and roll from axe
Uppercut zenith severs
All fall with droplet

Welcome dear rodents to my ascension…

Shockwave of Love

Shockwave of Love

The impact of your love shook my world, rattled my very foundations, and rearanged the stars in the firmament of my soul. Like a supernova, your love exsploded in my consciousness, illuminating the dark corners of my soul and casting a fierce glow upon the path ahead. It was a catastrophic event, a cataclysmic love that sent shockwaves through my being, altering the landscape of my heart forever...!

Shots in the Dark

The stars shoot straight, no curve balls, they light us up,
we feel the silver bullets ricocheting inside our eyes,
even when they are closed.

There's is no such thing as low caliber starlight,
they are, a million light year-old shockwave.

When that distant, shot in the dark, hits you,
you will know, big picture-wise,
that according to the long arm of the Universe,

we may only be collateral damage,
too insignificant to be bullseye's, or
magnificent targets, so well worth shooting at.

Premium MemberIn Hell

I don’t understand it
My eyes so drench with sadness drips to the floor
I can feel the shockwave of every tear embracing my heart
Tightness circles my entire soul
Withering hope and falling into despair
Without light there is no escape to heaven only hell
I am in hell
I don’t understand
I don’t understand
My love
My love

Fear grows like a seed
On the irrational it feeds
Anxiety is what it breeds
Wedging itself to mislead
Acid cascades into my throat
I swallow that panic slipping in
Like a shockwave, a jolt I shake
For not having enough time
To hold on to my breath
Before the waves of panic
comes crashing in!
I keep my eyes closed
And take a deep breath
I will not allow fear to conquer
Opening my eyes, I refuse to cave in!

Our planet is weeping, and faith is at low and vacillate.
A severe risk as a result of the global warming challenge
Concerns have arisen as an outcome of a wavering climate.

It is not due to hairspray or baby oil; it's our fate.
Rapidly melting Arctic glaciers are causing damage.
Our planet is weeping, and faith is at low and vacillate.

Carbon from fossil fuels is the major emission element.
A ferocious shockwave of metabolic blaze stage.
Concerns have arisen as an outcome of a wavering climate.

Concerns around the ozone hole depletion sprout.
Sea level is rising due to melting ice and warmer plage.
Our planet is weeping, and faith is at low and vacillate.

War and turmoil look trivial compared to climate.
Despite that our kids are at risk, newly threats emerge.
Concerns have arisen as an outcome of a wavering climate.

To allow plant life to thrive, we need to alter our zest.
Retain the air safe and car-free with zero carbon discharge.
Our planet is weeping, and faith is at low and vacillate.
Concerns have arisen as an outcome of a wavering climate.

Brave

Trere stands a man who's brave. Had many close shaves, wasn't at all afraid, not even of the grave.

He was a total knave, would always misbehave because he was downright depraved.

He would rant and he would rave like he belonged in a cave. He thought he had it made, not knowing to sin, he was a slave.

Til one day, he had a crave but someone else needed a fav, he couldn't understand why? From his heart he gave

Then he was hit with a shockwave, from that moment he was saved.

Now he's no longer depraved cause he was laved and now his way is paved.

No more to sin, a slave for he know The Lord forgave.

How long to sin will you be a Slave.

Go Back To Sleep

You just had another nightmare,
and you’re trembling
under the covers so scared
But then the devil says:
why are you awake,
go back to sleep!
Return to that REM place
where it’s safe ...
no more wakey wake!
What was it that frightened you
in your sleep,
made you have recurring bad dreams?
Was it the people you saw screaming,
who were burning
As a megaton missile
delivered radioactive rain
Was it the children you saw crying,
who were drowning
As a tsunami shockwave
sent them to a watery grave
Each night, you have the same nightmare
that makes you so scared
But the devil don’t care,
he rails on you:
why are you still awake,
go back to sleep!
Get back to the deep dream place
where it’s safe ...
no more wakey wake!
When that autumn mushroom night
turns into a nuclear winter sunrise,
then you can open your eyes

Flatlining

Shockwave of affectively laden numbness

Functioning trait through the plumes of dysfunction

Tempestuous fever in hibernation

Enclosed coffin emotions decomposing

Discoloration life's defibrillation

There Is Beauty In Ugliness

The night sky lightning sends a psychedelic shockwave
the wrath of the thunderstorms wake up the grave
the river cry of music sounds
but not loud enough to hear a spirit drown
the roses and their petals fall one by one to say goodbye
only thing left is the unsightly thorns to hurt my eyes
The night moon carries strong energies
revealing shadows and dark forces
but then I'm protected by pretty entities

Justice of the Music Man

The open road echoes his soundtrack
Going double platinum with each new track
His footsteps felt for miles like a shockwave
He’s the love of music we all desperately crave

Tops the charts could never keep him down
He's a hit, turning any frown upside down
His lyrics speak healing to the hurting heart
He’s love and he’s got this down to an art

His music vibes awakens even a ghost town
It’s a sound who’s origins are otherwise unknown
Without a guitar, piano, drums or saxophone..
He delivers a full performance all on his own

He’s on a mission to make the world dance
To bring you through every taxing circumstance
To deliver to all nothing less than ‘poetic’ justice
And to spread the message of love and peace

Noise

Such a small place, so much noise.

Finding it so hard to maintain my poise.

Somebody save me! Save me from this cacophony.

Treat me with nothing less than a sweet symphony.

It may be a smallville but it definitely needs some order.

I need a noble. Maybe the man from Krypton. A noise bender. Korra?

Silence is far. So far away from me.

I need an alternative. Something more pleasant.

An aural sedative. A composed depressant.

A while ago, I found my cure. I needed a dose of music.

But I tuned into a wrong frequency and now, all I hear is static.

“Hold on”, they said. “Do not panic.”

But they don’t understand my condition. Drugged with mental poison. My neural arsenic.

This concoction of sounds like scrambled beacons.

A shockwave messing up my mind; producing deceptions and cons.

It’s a whole new level and no sign of the end.

Lots of mixed signals. Even Fourier can’t comprehend.

Here’s my last note:

Somebody help me! I need an antidote.

A Ripple of Fate

A collapsed cave houses my curse
Where once stood your altar
Memory haunts me like a headless horse
A broken man with an empty centre

It’s been a decade and some tears
Since forever was lost to the winter
Imprisoned by the cold of commitment fears
The key dangles, but none dare entre

Your grace was the fireplace to my hurt
Your angel wings carried my soul
A ripple of fate tore what we had apart
A shockwave our love couldn’t sail

A dark cloud thunders over my heart
Its reign soaking me in sorrow
Lightning flashes pain at your thought
On my knees like a broken arrow

Umbra Music

The insect hymns
press gently on the inner ears.

They hide in the umbra,
great intricacies
of chitinous clicks
and timpanis
and tiny shockwave harmonies
grooving late
into the ferocious night -

until the umbra yowls
and hoots,
and the the hunters seek the hymns.
