Neither thinking 
nor feeling
~ Void ~

Soul penetrates innermost 
chamber time to time 
takes it on ecstatic 
journeys to unknown 
ocean mines
zips open my armour
blood dripping 
octopus grimacing
crushes, smash 
Heart  
to smithers 

I cry not for God

Dance of Shiva

Magnetism throbbing within form,
manifests waves, both cool and warm,
setting nodes in body aflame,
silent thunder, a benign storm. 

This dance sublime, a divine game,
with soul’s ascent being the aim,
that as polarities unite,
desires dissolve, ego we tame.

As bliss pulsates by day and night,
taking us on a wingless flight,
in time our eye becomes single,
whence we see we are

Kailashanatha!

O Kailasanatha!
Imbued with serenity and calm,
Like the great Kailah that holds your fiery dreadlocks powerfully in its icy fold,
Even in the biting cold,
Makes everyone stand with their hands in prayer together ahold,

O Kedarnatha!
With your matted tresses,
And a boiling pot of emotions
That the holy Kailah redresses,

O Umanatha!
Opening your Third Eye,
You show the world the way,
As a

the head ovoid 
a floating balloon
tethered to heart
where we dwell

we notice thoughts
as also sensations
at play therein
feeding the ego

agape love humming
in toroidal heart 
simply looking on
does not interfere

in timeless time
thought forms conjured
by wayward ego
crumble to dust

bereft of thought
a thousand suns
illuminate the void
within the head

consciousness yet still
observes the dance
wondrous yet ephemeral 
in organic form

Mahakaal

So many times I chanted the prayer
from childhood to now that I forget
what I pray for or want repeating
mantras while walking at dusk or seeing
images on the lingam that stir
the flame Shiva harnesses deep within

my numbed feet stop before growling dogs
trained to ignore strangers whose lips don’t utter
their names or who aren’t free in leash

Shiver Shiva

Shiver for Shiva is about.
The made must be undone
the created made to dance
on new flames.

Halloween is due,
all the old souls
will be flying in the night
on new broom sticks.
The days are crushed together,
black-ice has made them
fragile and slippery.

Shiver, for Shiva stamps his foot
on the innocent and the black-hearted
all will be blessed,
for a long winter has come
he

Enveloped by bliss, day and night 
Form’s transmuted as living light
Soma nectar drips in each vein
Vaporised self dwells in delight

Fears and desires, to rest are lain
Magnetic heat cleanses soul’s stain
That that remains, is vibrant bliss
Love’s searing power, we ingrain

Boundaries blur; everything’s this
Each touch divine, a virgin kiss
Mother boosts our soul’s vibration

Just imagine
Head as a balloon
A periscope feeling earth
With heart as the seat
Of soul essence

Senses five
Powered by mind
Interact and interpret
Duality at play
Witnessed

Separation
Of head and heart
Allows us to feel contrast 
Manifest epiphany 
Lucid dream

Union
Of polarities 
Aligned with God’s love
Suffuses us thus 
With bliss

There then
Being no seeking
Tango dancing, so becoming
Vibrant God-essence
Here now

Mind doesn’t know where third eye is
Location signalled by bliss fizz
We alone feel, the soma flow
Scriptures but pose, a mind game quiz

Truths esoteric, if we’d know
Feel the central vein, all aglow
From root to crown, soundless thunder
Agamas known in stillness slow

Supported by Brahma
Holding erect energies
Shakti engages in play
In the stream of soma 
Igniting our central vein
As a gift to our presence
Receptive in surrender
Aligned with love divine

Centred in the vast void
Encased by feeble form
The dance of polarities 
When graced by Mother
Enlivened by magnetism 
Manifests bliss frictional
That pervades each node
Gripping heart in rapture

Yearning replaces desire
As bliss currents

Two mugs may not have to clatter or clash to touch
