Perfection I should gain; as perfect as the warmth of love,
Affluence, aspiration, and uprightness too should shove;
That substance, that essence, that omnipotent power sway,
That formal and final cause and effect only will stay...!

Could I call it Narvana, the confident negation?
Could I call it ethereal, eternal elation?
Is it one from whom the comely universe came to be?
Is it the source of all that I could see and cannot see...?

Is it Tian, the highest principle of all creation?
Is it causation, collation, and conscious cessation?
Endless energy, crucial truth, yet, indescribable,
Could its foundation and finish be so ascribable...?

Such as Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, All-embracing Allah,
The Father, Son, and the Spirit... Amen Alleluiah...!
Waheguru and numerous god-men and women, great,
Through them, with them, in them... I'll be in an ecstatic state...!!!

When I say, "I am Shiva,"
I actually mean I'm eternally one with pranava.
I've always existed: we each have our atma.
I destroy bad karma to recreate my dharma.

When I say, "I am Vishnu,"
I actually mean we are one, as I am all of you.
We're all divine entities preserving what's true.
I preserve reality in the cosmic ocean we brew.

When I say, "I am Brahma,"
I actually mean we create based on every law,
We create things which may each have a flaw,
Only because we must learn lessons of karma.

When I say "I am an aspect of Brahman,"
I actually mean I am more than simply human.
So are you, you just need to realize you can
Transcend and see how cycles forever span.

Soon I will be traveling
To the valley of the stars
And the shoreline of the Milky Way
Where near connects to far.

My senses fading rapidly
As darkness closes in
Like a fog bank over mountain tops
Void of sound or wind.

Bow and arrow-headed past Polaris
Beyond Orion’s belt –
Galaxies beyond galaxies
Or anything yet seen or felt.

Star-dust bound to that forever now
Eternally timeless life and death –
To the Maker of matter and anti-matter
And giver of life and breath.

Minstrel of music, Painter of skies
One for All and All in One –
Where old is new as morning dew
And darkness and light come from.

Where departures are deceptive and death reflective
Of times and places we’ve known –
Where déjà vu’ is nothing new
And oceans turn to snow.

Where once upon a mystery
In those early Christian miles –
I heard Jesus laughing and Buddha clapping
The day I learned to smile.

With Shiva dancing and Lipizzons prancing
In a wave-like, particle spin –
Where uncertainty turns to reality
And disappears like a by-gone wind.

Where stretching the bounds of life itself
Is a weirdly – wonderful ride –
Like falling from a roller coaster down below
And the bottom is nothing
                                       but sky.

I’m going back there and everywhere
In the eye of the hurricane storm –
Into the realm of the looking glass
Where memories and dreams are born.

Where truth is a lie and fiction real
And proof is a playful thing –
Where telekinesis is more than a thesis
And the universe sparkles and sings.

And the warm Light of Transcendence and others in attendance
Wait where the river runs deep –
For another soul’s travel to try and unravel
How far we can go when we sleep.

Where yesterday lives with tomorrow today
And heaven is real as green grass –
For you, me and they and all who obey
In the laws of good nature that lasts.

Where consciousness resides love never dies
And home’s not a place but a thought –
Separation ended, hatred suspended
And nothing more needs to be sought.

Kashinath To Kash

I was named 'kashinath' by grandfather,
but from very schooldays to colleges
and throughout my life's different stages,
my name was trimmed to 'kashi' by others!

It is a very old name in India,
my friends used to tease me over the same
and I once even thought to change this old name,
but my father liked this name of Lord Shiva.

"My dear son, what is in a name?
one may call the gold as silver
but you know gold will be gold for ever."
Father used to tell me this very often.

Let me explain what 'kashinath' means here,
'Nath' is the 'King' in our language,
'Kashi' is a place of Hindu pilgrimage,
an ancient temple of Lord Shiva(kashinath) stands there.

To end the poem I must inform all soupers,
I have been trimmed to'KASH' very recent
all of you can use this name in comments,
as it is going to be a time saver!!

The Consciene of the World

The consciene of the world destructed today
the ballad of the war are playing on land and bay
The flames of violence of king Daksha going on the world
Sati and the Shiva, catastrophe of dance dancing hey.
Vishnu Muni, I know you, you ended catasthophe by cutting Sati
I am calling you, sinking in darkness, towards the world today
the world has became too hot to warm the heart like fire
please throw your wheel to stop the war I would like to pray.
Human race are playing in blood , the play of destruction
monsters are rulling on , they want to do evil thereon.
Pride of power spreads its net under the umbrella of violence
the fierce flock of sheep has made world as slaughterhouse in pain.
I wish to pray to have your grace to calm down the earth
human forgets their humanity, turns into giant, fall us in dearth.

Incineration of Love God Madan Cupid 21

Incineration of Love God Madan (Cupid) 21
Originally written in Hindi by my late father Dr. Amar Nath Kapoor
1899 to 1994. The work was written in Hindi somewhere around 1965-70.

Editing and English version by Ravindra K Kapoor.

Hindi Title ‘Madan Dahan’ 21

The infection does not reach
Due to that strong protection,
It would be able to burn,
This great infector of temptations.

Effect of anger made him blunt,
He got his third eye open
The burning rays of penance
Passed through eyes and fell.

Cupid's body began to burn,
Created by the cosmic fire of Shankar*,
Destroying the charms all around,
The delusion also disappeared.

When the Earth Was In Danger 5

When the Earth was in danger 5 /8

Prelude (For Prelude please see part 1 )

Watching the changing season all around, to enchant the dance of Urvashi*,
The Earth began to dance too, thinking that Urvashi’s* dance would save the earth,
What a splendid scene it was, which was spreading a magic everywhere on earth,
No one had ever witnessed this beauty and grandeur,
Neither anywhere in the heaven, nor anywhere even on earth.

Breathless and motionless they were watching only,
Under the influence of intoxication, produced by the seasons Goddess Spring,
The last efforts of Urvashi,* to save the earth and all its beautiful creatures. 19

Suddenly a shocking incident took place, shattering the hopes of everyone,
While dancing with Lord Shiva, pride entered into the mind of Urvashi*,
She began to think that she was performing her dance,
as good as that of Lord Shiva*, and
This thought began to disturb her mind,
disturbing the coolness of her flawless dance. 20

Watching the seed of pride, sprouted in the mind of Urvashi*.
The Goddess Earth, ‘Dhara’* thought, “Now the destruction is inevitable,”
If not stopped immediately, the seed of pride rising high in Urvashi’s mind,
Could become the cause of Shiva’s rage and the destruction of our Earth and the Universe.

Not only she too would burnt alive in the cosmic heat of Shiva’s third eye*, but
The whole of this beautiful Earth and the wonderful Universe too would be,
In flames of that cosmic heat and life from this most beautiful planet,
Would vanish forever and forever. 21

A sudden incident took place in that moment, which disturbed the balance of Urvashi,
Urvashi* fell on the ground, while she was at the peak of her divine dance,
Her dance came to a abrupt halt and with that even Shiva’s Tandava* stopped too,
Lord Shiva opened his eyes to see,
What had happened, which forced him to stop his dance suddenly.

SAMADHI

SAMADHI

I am the Void
                   and THE ALL
I am the pen
                   and paper
                        the insertion and hole
the breath, the nostril
                                  War, Peace
Surrender and action
               Angelic wings descending
Transfiguration and Embodiment
                          Lover and Beloved
nipple, nourishment, lips

I bolt, then follow, appear, disappear
                               Essence and form

Only in my Silent Point of no Return
                                            and no Time

can Shiva and Shakti drown in
                     Samadhi

Forest floor was prickly hard with dried
               leaves and elves
the path to Cave I had to walk
      Doe awaited inside the Darkness
              a pool blacker than black
                    the deep unknown of knowingness
                           her eyes my own Void
trying to remember Yeats or Wordsworth
or Camus or even Ghandi
      it was all in vain

I beckoned your I AM
           to follow suit to Samadhi
 your guitar strings, seas, voice
or smiling eyes you feared to leave

What was His Silent Point beyond the entrance
the endless depth of no Return ?
where was music or feasting or cool waves
where was a mustard lettuce sandwich
                           or escape ?

I beckoned the bolt, the appearance or disappearance
Doe watched as our Observer both

Transfiguration had you mesmerised
             at a mossy fringe
a toe became a stepless step
            sinking, sinking
    bodies becoming dark water
 nothing escapes the Gateless Gate
An event horizon was a fallacy
the Void and THE ALL
                                 tightened all spirals
to silent scream in a Cave pool blacker than black
A pool melting into Doe’s eyes
a velvet not known to Mind

Samadhi was His alone in surrendered peace
              Our spirals His ecstatic tools

a mustard lettuce sandwich waited at
                    another oak table

Soft Eyes of an Angel

When I first saw you, my heartbeat became lower
All of my stress started to leave my body as your eyes met mine
Your look and smile were a fresh breath of air from a blower
Your hair was the color of Raven which made you look fine

As you walked each aisle, I noticed your steps were wide and petite
You did not swing your hips in a wild manner that would drive me insane
As you walked each step, the angels and Iblis bowed down in defeat
Seeing true beauty in you has caused me to love you and not complain

May it be confusing, but love is a mystery that is only understood by Anunnaki
Eros has shot an arrow into our hearts that our minds are confused and not moving to bliss
Could it be that love is similar to the making of a Greek Souvlaki
Shiva looks at us as being perfect for one another; however, Yahweh will not make her a forever miss

Allah does not see as we see, as age is only a number
Even Odin, Eros, and Lord Shiva agree and see it as a number

Five Tanka Poems

1.	She gives him the push
when he says sex starving
is a greater sin
than fasting for his long life
or praying to the lingam*

				              *an image of Shiva

2.	after a tiff
lying under the same blanket
two of us stare
the peeping moon and turn
with glee to each other

3.	shaped like a bird
a drop of water lands
on her breast:
my breath jumps to kiss it
before her pelvic flick

4.	weaving no web
a dark fishing spider
mates in the creek
and curls up hanging from the ****
in one-shot deal

5.	glowing with sweat
her muscles tighten up
and the toes curl
breathing gets heavier
trembling…twitching…ecstasy
