Premium MemberOh Yes Your's Stinks Too

… Oh Yes…. Your Stinks Too!!!
We all know at least one…

The person who self-aggrandises, intent on making others think, feel, and look less than… while falsely building themselves up to be more than…

They remind me of the story, The Emperor's New Clothes. The king obliviously marched around town and down the street with smug self-assurance. Not only does he believe his clothing is grand, people should fawn all over him… his doesn't stink.

He needs a child, a voice that's heard, to say… “he thinks he's all that and a bag of chips… BUT, his stinks!!!

We all need that child's voice to state the reality around us.
No matter who a person is or does, how much wealth they have, how well-known and famous, how envied…

No one can escape, everybody's stinks!

Premium MemberFlies can Walk Upside Down

Flies can walk upside down
I am watching one through my glass table
It is weird seeing his tiny feet
He walks with self-assurance
Step step step
No flying for this one

TURTLES OF LIBERTY

In the race of life,
let us be as the turtle;
rather than as the hare:-

Let self assurance
and motivated focus
pace our journeying…

Our self wisdom
and paced determination
mirrors destiny…

The distance is long;
Let patience be a virtue–
Resilience shelled:-

Life’s race may be slow;
Liberty always coming–
It has its season:-

Life’s nature has us;
Ancestors’ footprints molded–
Persistence fueling:-

Being of oneness,
Turtling along the way;
Let us shell our liberty:-

No Robert Frost

I know that I’m no Robert Frost;
I never claimed to be ‘im,
Yet that is not the reason why
I write a poem per diem.

The writing lets me tap inside
And reach my inner being,
Which, from the outside, no one’s really
Capable of seeing.

It’s gratifying when I get
Some feedback on my rhyming,
Yet that’s not what I need to get
My self-assurance climbing.

It’s when I read back what I wrote
That fills me up with pleasure,
Though I might be the only one
Who sees it as a treasure.

Premium MemberThe only black swan on the Lake

She swam so beautifully captivating
the sky mesmerizing the rivers
edge she panders about with such
grace owning her own dreams she
caters to fulfillment honored by
her beauty moving with strength
confidence as on lookers watch her
sun bathe in her blackness adorned
by flaws made her even more
brilliant this wondrous creature
before us raved in the glory of
self assurance a masterpiece of
essence created by God as she swam
over the gleaming pond bowing her
head beneath cool waters shaking off her
tail feathers the mere wonder revealed

Premium MemberConfidence

Quote: “You are as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fears; as young as your hope, as old as your despair.”—
Samuel Ullman

In realms of self-assurance, let us dwell,
Where confidence, a beacon, brightly shines,
Like a sun-kissed gem, within us it swells,
Igniting paths where success intertwines.

Know your value, precious as pure gold,
A treasure trove within your very core,
A diamond's sparkle, strong and bold,
Unveiling worth that shines forevermore.

With every step, let confidence unfold,
Like a soaring eagle, free in flight,
Spreading wings of courage, brave and bold,
Conquering fears, embracing pure delight.

Act like the person you aspire to be,
A blooming flower, reaching for the sky,
Unfolding petals, vibrant and carefree,
Captivating hearts as time goes by.

For others will perceive what they will see,
A symphony of stars, aglow with grace,
An ocean's depth, waves dancing wild and free,
A masterpiece, a portrait to embrace.

Confidence, the seed that breeds success,
A roaring fire, ablaze with fervent might,
A soaring phoenix, rising from duress,
Guiding us towards a future shining bright.

Premium MemberResurrection

Religion is about ideology; Resurrection is about The Christ.

Empty words; empty ideas; empty religions; Empty tombs.

Satan was totally clueless about the resurrection.

Unity with the Father was often mentioned by Jesus.

Reckless actions and self-assurance doomed Satan.

Roman nor Jewish law could have prevented the death of Christ.

Execution by crucifixion was the exact prediction of the prophets.

Christ rose from the grave on the third day and ascended after 40 days.

Thirty pieces of silver were the price paid to Judas for the betrayal.

If Peter denied Jesus and repented, why did Judas not also repent?

Overreach is a perfect word that fits the actions of Satan against Christ.

Never has anyone claimed to have found bones of Christ in the tomb. Why?

Premium MemberSelf Confidence

Watching the movie "Wizard of the Oz”, what do I see,
Cowardly lion does not have courage,
"Courage! What makes the flag on the mast to wave?",
'What others have got that I ain't got with lack of self-confidence? '

'What others have got that I ain't got with lack of self-confidence?'
Whenever I tried to create my image,
I felt ignored, lonely, and found no one listening to my nervous voice,
Fearful and hurt, I was losing my self-confidence.

Fearful and hurt, I was losing my self-confidence,
Till I heard the voice, Look over your audience,
Speak your heart out, let the people hear in silence,
Think of the ways to build your self-confidence.

Think of the ways to build the self-confidence,
Overcome the despair with the visions of hope,
Overcome the fear with acts of self-assurance,
As a last act, think you are as superior than anyone else.

Premium MemberSabrina

Sabrina was a woman who knew her own soul
People learned fast not to try and hoodwink her
She did not fall down, kick or scream when confronted
Knowing when to walk away, she left drama behind

Her self-assurance annoyed those who did not have confidence
This trait followed her from preteen-hood into adulthood
She knew her heart, understood her path
Allowed no one to distract her from her life’s work

Many were intimidated by Sabrina
Not her close circle of women friends
They were also confident in their own ways
A formidable group who exuded feminine power

Premium MemberWaltzing Fairy

She is the result of self-assurance.
She moves as smoothly as a stream
Her sarong was embellished with sequins
Boosting her brilliance
Her steps are like never-ending weaving
With her wild elegance
She makes floating designs in the air
Her aura may be sensed everywhere
However, it is scattered
Like a cheerful tease
That sparkles like silver stars
She is the embodiment
Of a cheerful nature
That brightens and warms any heart.

Premium MemberThe Rubenesque Mermaid

She is so corpulent! She is so oversized. She is so Rubenesque.
Eleanor felt strongly they meant her, and she loved it; it was for the best.
She had worked a long time to reach her present girth and statuesque.
In the land of the deep sea, being large was an asset, she could attest.

She swished her tail and showed off all of her sides, so firm and fair.
Of course, the water shook out her gorgeous locks of whitish hair.
She knew sailors would stare a her because she was all that and more.
Confidence, self-love and self-assurance firmly in place, in dear Eleanor.

Premium MemberHello Madame Bovidier

Madame Bovidier makes no excuses for her misbehaviors.
her misdeeds are infamous; royalty speaks of her in astounded tones.
is she a relative? An off-blanket cousin? Or character of means unknown?
no one remembers when she first appeared or where she derived from.
her confidence level marches around rooms in steel toed marching boots.
she has the attitude of a brigadier general, and we peons fall into place.
reveling in her self-assurance. Waiting for our next instruction.
she is my honorary auntie, but even grandma fears her.

Premium MemberBlessed To Know Auntie Constance

Her Christian name is Constance, but I call her Auntie Confidence.
She spurts self-assurance as easily as a strawberry popsicle in July.
She oozes confidence. Some of us stand close, hoping it will drip on us.
If you say, “women can’t,” she will show you that this woman can.
Dare I brag, she was the first female engineer in the aerospace program?
Our family falls under Auntie Confidence’s spell when she stops by.
She is like a meteorite - teaching us to be real, to be confident
To be ourselves and let no one stop us. I am blessed to know her.

Premium MemberWhat Makes Us Human

They say: we are all aboard one boat do you agree?
There are many sailboats in the choppy sea.
Some ocean liners provide comfort and luxury.
Others dispense leisure and a drink on the balcony.

The star's radiance is not a concern.
I realize we do not view them. Wilt yearns.
Our murky self-portrait is enigmatic.
It is the paradigm stalker and emphatic.

We sat down after sliding into the ground.
We also have a similar identity around.
We have self-assurance and are proactive.
Akin a careful skydiver, we remain tractive

Our territory is growing with the breeze.
With our feet dangling outside appease
We are appreciative of the world broadly.
As I saw it rise, the dome seemed ungodly.

Man's eyesight is cloaked in darkness.
We face the side of the world in blackness.
When we assess a man, we do view gloom.
We all had to flee while jostling and doom.

Great Reset Opportunity Or Never Waste a Crisis

Word from the (self) Conferred of New World Order.

‘Now mid the winter of your discontent
New fire of opportunity ignites
Despot assault that all can see augments
A rage of righteous censure burning bright

As with all perils we will take control
Elites of destiny to save the Earth
In self assurance to accept the role
Of saviours, no misgivings of our worth

Is this the crisis we for long have craved?
While beach-heads have been taken in our quest
The great pandemic now begins to fade
In greater fear, you’ll yield to our behest

Then you shall gladly sacrifice your will
In trust as we, all wants and needs fulfil’
