Fragrant Kisses

By Deb Wilson

Gazing at Spring flowers turns my head
Puts me in a wonderful mood
Inhaling sweet fragrances
Seeking out my darling
Giving him kisses
Turns his head too
Love and Spring
In the
Air!

Premium Member A Spring Kiss

by ~~Francine Roberts~~~

I venture out into the spring morn

and turn my face towards the sun.

The feel, the touch, of warm breeze

gentle as a caress.

A lover's embrace

this touch of spring.

The warmth is

like a

kiss.

Flowers of Spring

Frühlingsblumen / Flowers of Spring / Flores de primavera

Tage sind länger
Und Frühlingsblumen blühen
In den Vorgärten

An einer Linde am Fluss
Klopft nur ein Specht seinen Takt

Days are longer
And spring flowers are blooming
In the front gardens

A linden tree by the river
Only a woodpecker beats his beat

Días son más largos
Flores de primavera florescen
En los jardines

Un árbol de tilo al río
Sólo un pájaro carpintero golpea a su ritmo

Premium Member Bouquets of Spring

Up a country road Wisteria blooms
The soft lavender fragrant buds await
Easy sunlight gently touches blossoms
Sends wafing aromatic breeze thru gate

White Dogwood blooms spot multicolored woods
Gently lift and fall in soft spring air
Impressionistic Azalea blooms stood
Colorful ornaments on creek's bend fair

Narcissus stand in trim and neat rows
Except at homeplaces beside the road
Where they are free to send out young
For our rejoicing when spring has sprung

In the warm spring nature's bouquets abound
Sakura, Tulips short time are around

Life Is Like

Life is like a warm summer day;
Full of obstacles and delay.
Like is like a summer past;
No single moment will ever last.
Life is like some winter snows;
It has its high points and its lows.
Life is like a winter sky;
Beautiful, until the day you die.
Life is like an autumn wind;
Chilling you through 'til the end.
Life is like an autumn moon;
Foretelling of something coming soon.
Life is like a spring rain;
Giving you something to gain.
Life is like a spring child;
Always smiling, always wild.
Life is short,
So live it tall
And God will see
You through it all.

Premium Member Oh, Spring of Laughter

Oh, spring of laughter, spring of cheer.
How glad I am to see you here.
Your skies are eyes of blue that smile;
your lilacs and fresh air beguile.
And glee, your tenor, greets my ear.

With twittering, sweet birds appear,
and mirthfully, cool streams run clear.
You sprinkle rains from magic vial.
Oh, spring of laughter.

Mistress of our emerald sphere,
before your looking glass we peer.
May all reflect, at least this while
a joy that’s free of grief and guile.
May sunshine days be ever near.
Oh, spring of laughter.

Spring Is Near

Spring is a noble season
it's a time of show and tell
nature reveals its majesty
we can sense that all is well.

The trees are turning green again
there's a balmy fresh air breeze
the sounds of Spring can now be heard
from the songbirds in the trees.

There's the sparkle of a babbling brook
sunshine warms the air
the sky is a lovely sapphire-blue
there's beauty everywhere.

A Lilac scent enchants the breeze
with a smell like sweet perfume
our little furry friends appear
other flowers are in bloom.

When Winter's gone and Spring arrives
it's like a great rebirth
with all the lovely sights and sounds
it's like Heaven here on Earth.

Spring Evening

SPRING EVENING

Apple blossom evening
Stars are now appearing
And from the south far away
Once again spring has come to stay

There through my window
Murmured voice of music low
The evening stretches to the daybreak
And my hopeful soul is now awake

Working in the breeze
I bend to my knees
Thankful for my warm fields again
I roll up my sleeves in anticipation

Season's Round

Summer sunshine in her hair
The Autumn moon in her eyes
Winter’s promise buried there
Hints of Spring therein lies

The Autumn moon in her eyes
Winter’s snow upon her skin
The seeds of Spring wait to rise
To field the Summer once again

Winter’s snow upon her skin
Spring flowers to grace her face
Summer’s vow to come again
Until Autumn takes its place

Spring flowers to grace her face
Summer’s sunshine in her hair
Autumn hints leave bare a trace
That Winter’s cold will follow there

Spring (Limerick)

Spring spring how nice of you to come
So happy all the cold and snow is done
Let's enjoy the flowers the birds and the bees
Fun things to watch like leaves grow back on trees
I love spring and I know I'm not the only one

"Calendar Caviar"

Windy Winter,
Snowy, chilling cold,
Shivering frosty flakes blow.

Winter runs from Spring peeking back
With childlike eyes, seasons hide and seek.

Showery Spring rains,
Thunder, lightening on window panes,
With patriotic claims to so inflame.

Summer beckons breezes wave,
Vacations in deep warmth enslave,
Autumn delights with changing leaves.

Trees must answer with colors of
Yellow, orange and red; Fall daze.

Nature's Royal Flush,
a potpourri of season's flair,
The shining star, of calendar caviar.

Say Yes

Someday the spring will be ours
Someday loves dice will fall for sure
Some summer when time waits to lure
Our hearts to find just the right hours.
No brook shall steal away the flowers
Nor dirty spring waters pure.
Someday the spring will be ours
Someday loves dice will fall for sure.
Fascination becomes the tour
For springs trumpets are not lour.
We quietly search the towers
Where first we discovered allures.
Someday the spring will be ours.

Premium Member Robins Dart

As the Robins dart across the grass
Ignoring the clouds of gray
Cold breeze and cold dry air
Every so often they bob their heads
Eating a bug or seed something to me unseen

The Redbuds that in the wild do grow
Begin to show their true colors
Along the roads as about our lives we go
Awaking soon to different shades of green
They'll fill the artist's canvas of woods

Each tree shows its beautiful or knarled
Structure that's not now hidden by leaf or flower
Some being stately and others
Seem to be dower some look as
Though being crownded or shaped
By ice storm or children playing on tender limbs

Soon the full canvas will be painted
With all the colors of spring bringing
To mind love and romance of the springtime
A time of sunny days with just enough warmth
Color, aroma, and scent of spring flowers
To fill all hearts with those desires..amore

Spring's Dance

Winter feels the coming spring
As it gasps for it's last breath
For spring has won the battle
And handed winter it's death

The flowers dance in unison
As the sparrow begins to sing
The willow tree waves it's branches
In honor of the coming spring

The brooks are bubbling over
With heightened anticipations
The clouds all cast their shadows
With familar illustrations

Winter is now a memory
As spring begins to dance
A time for new beginnings
And nature's own romance

The prickly pear cactus is frozen
And the plant has toppled over
As the temperature rises, clouds cover
And the plant thaws will it spring approval
In the spring will it be a trooper
With the instinct for survival all over
