A Spring Kiss

by ~~Francine Roberts~~~

I venture out into the spring morn

and turn my face towards the sun.

The feel, the touch, of warm breeze

gentle as a caress.

A lover's embrace

this touch of spring.

The warmth is

like a

kiss.

Beautifully said, Francine. I know how much you are longing for warmer weather. When it finally arrives, it will probably be better than a lover's kiss. Your distaste for winter does make me chuckle, but forgive me because it was over 80 degrees here yesterday and summer is approaching too soon. The welcome mat is out if you ever care to come on down, Francine. In fact, I'd be happy to trade places with you for a week or two. Best wishes in the contest. Love, Carolyn
