Frozen Prickly Pear

The prickly pear cactus is frozen And the plant has toppled over As the temperature rises, clouds cover And the plant thaws will it spring approval In the spring will it be a trooper With the instinct for survival all over (This was the morning that Cody had phone calls at three AM and he didn't wake up to answer them and I finally just got up. No excuse. I should have checked my work. Sara)

This is inspiring, Sara :) pretty unique how you presented hope, which is even more beautiful since it makes the reader realize that we can see hope in everyday life, be it in a butterfly or yes, a prickly pear ;) Just some typos--"an extra "e" in your title for "prickly"; "temperature" and "all over"--hope this helps :) thanks for this hopeful write :)

Very nice, Sara. Have you ever made or tasted cactus jelly made from that trooper-plant? This cold has been tough on plants. for whom I have prayed, many times this year. But God has programed in "survival", thankfully. Love to you, Dane Ann
