Oh, Spring of Laughter
Oh, spring of laughter, spring of cheer.
How glad I am to see you here.
Your skies are eyes of blue that smile;
your lilacs and fresh air beguile.
And glee, your tenor, greets my ear.
With twittering, sweet birds appear,
and mirthfully, cool streams run clear.
You sprinkle rains from magic vial.
Oh, spring of laughter.
Mistress of our emerald sphere,
before your looking glass we peer.
May all reflect, at least this while
a joy that’s free of grief and guile.
May sunshine days be ever near.
Oh, spring of laughter.
