Oh, Spring of Laughter

Oh, spring of laughter, spring of cheer. How glad I am to see you here. Your skies are eyes of blue that smile; your lilacs and fresh air beguile. And glee, your tenor, greets my ear. With twittering, sweet birds appear, and mirthfully, cool streams run clear. You sprinkle rains from magic vial. Oh, spring of laughter. Mistress of our emerald sphere, before your looking glass we peer. May all reflect, at least this while a joy that’s free of grief and guile. May sunshine days be ever near. Oh, spring of laughter. Congratulations on your win, Andrea. The "laughter" will begin to "spring" as soon as the American Idol auditions begin. Just when is that anyway? Best wishes, Carolyn

Andrea, your work is such an inspiration. It brings a big smile to my face. You have a genuine optimistic hue. You are correct--it was me. And many, many years later, I am proud to say I never did that to my own wonderful children. They are the "spring of laughter" in my life. What is funny is that a discussion at work or an observation or media clip can trigger memories and bring the feelings back to life. The important thing is to preserve peace. Thank you much as a peace promoter.

This is January. Oh what a dreamer you are, but I love it, need it. Come oh bountiful spring. Did someone say that? About "Suddenly." It is the realization - especially in winter - of nature's cruelty, the violence, the predators, fear and hunger that all animals must suffer. Love. Old Dave
