Stop, Look And Listen

I had no need of a lollipop man
in my younger days
as before crossing the road
I knew to look both ways
right left then right again
and if the coast was clear
I'd see myself safely across
without a hint of fear
but if traffic was at a standstill
thinking 'Here goes, pell-mell'
without blinking do a double-take
and then run like hell

Premium Member Very Funny Axioms

“Cross my heart and hope to die”
A saying from years past
That has survived for many eons
And will most likely last

But there are so many others
“Barking up the wrong tree”
Choosing a maple instead of an oak
Oblivious to a life carefree

“Two wrongs don't make a right”
In a fatal car accident
When one person is declared dead
Other suffered flatulence

“The pen is mightier than the sword”
Not likey to win an award
Have you ever tried writing a novel
With the tip of a sword

“Two heads are better than one”
Run like hell I'd say
If you see someone with two heads
Freaking weird run away

“Absence makes the heart grow fonder”
Living on Planet Mars
Wonder where the red comes from
Sure is prettier than ours

Ancient Derodidymus – You So Sweet A Thing

Derodidymus – an ancient symbol in the form of a
two-headed dragon that’s in a fight forever in one
single body. Yes, for sure . . .

“A Two-Headed Monster” who’s in the mirror for
you to see, “Good Luck,” as one head talks to the
other at will.

Any hint of “Human Normality” pervades the true
essence of a real Derodidymus most certainly not!
The fright factor of such a mythical creature in our
“modern world” conjures an image of a horrible evil!

After all what would one do, if one were to run into
such a mythical creature in a blind alley one night?
Run like Hell . . . Talk to the Creature . . . or Faint!
Or perhaps consult an Anthropologist, if you can!

This two-headed Dragon is an ancient and sacred
symbol for sure, but it’s oh so real today. This is a
fight of the two heads in one body or maybe a most
challenging fight forever, or can it now be put to rest
Today! If not, start running now and keep running
or this so sweet a thing will surely find you! Amen.

Hidden Desire

On the outside she’s totally calm,
In her head it’s not the same
A little mystery in her eyes,
Held up by the devil’s disguise
Black hair,
Linen and lace
Always trying to win the race
When she smiles the whole world stops
When she’s angry you better run like hell,
Where you go it doesn’t matter,
Your death will end with a giant splatter
On the outside she’s totally calm,
On the inside it’s not the same
A twisted look in her eyes,
        Hidden desire,
	Hunger in her eyes
	The witching hour,
Nothing will ever be the same

Premium Member Maybe You Are Not Wrong

When you hear the scary music, get out of the house.
When you hear glass breaking, run like hell.
When the guy in the Jason mask runs after you
Run faster!

When you think there are monsters under your bed
and one grabs your foot
Guess what?
You were not wrong.

When you think there is a goblin in your closet
And your heart is beating double time
Get the bejezzus of your room!
Your feelings always know, especially in a scary movie.

When a bloody hand comes out of a grave
Get the hell out of the cemetery.
When the guy in the backseat pops up
Get the fudge out of the car.

When you start seeing dead people
maybe you are dead.....
Don’t fight it.
It never works, even in a scary movie.

Premium Member We Set the Tiger Loose

We let the cat out of the bag, we set the tiger loose.
We can either run like hell or look for some excuse.
It's time to come together for the weak and for the small.
The future of our planet depends upon us all.

Meditations of the Damned

You run like hell just to wear
	yourself out
Keep up while falling flat
Tired, constantly tired, never
	enough sleep in a day
Shut your brain down, liquefy
	your thoughts, keep your
	mouth shut while keeping
	it open

Your run like hell in circles
	around the room
Keeping up while spinning down
Tired, constantly tired, never
	enough time in a day
Shut your system down, liquefy
	your life, keep your
	brain dead while keeping
	it alive

Your run like hell, pretending to
	be alive
Keeping up with others falling down
Tired, constantly tired, never a
	new moment in the day
Shut down your life, shut
	down your soul, keep
	your eyes open while
	hoping to keep them shut

Premium Member Feeling Like a Trapped Hare

She walked into the convenience store looking for a snack.
It was a pretty day, nothing ominous about it.
There was no clerk, but she figured they would be right back.

She heard a terrifying scream. The hair on her neck stood up.
Something was diabolically wrong; she could feel it, being an empath.
There was muffled thumping in the back room behind the window door.

Should she duck down out of sight or run like hell? She felt like a trapped hare.
The back doors burst open. A guy with a gun was two feet from her.
Let’s go he said. She was horrified. He meant go with him?

She knew if she got into the car she would never be seen alive again.
She was paralyzed with fear. Her feet did not move.
Walk or die, he said. She chose to die.

My neighbour her name is MeShell
Her farts have a terrible smell
She eats curry and sprouts
In copious amounts
I greet her and then run like hell!

Mel the Bat

Some people have dogs and cats.
But the pet that I chose is a ban.
He's very beautiful and his name is Mel.
When people see him, they run like hell.
Owning Mel is something that I don't regret.
.But I have no social life because I have a bat for a pet.
Women come to my house and scream when they see Mel flapping around.
They want nothing else to do with me or Mel after they faint and fall down.
One damn woman nearly killed Mel when she sprayed him with Raid.
I love my bat but because of him, I have no chance of getting laid.
When a 900 pound woman fainted and fell down, she caused and earthquake.
Mel and I were both frightened when everything started to shake.
My own brother wouldn't visit me on a whiskey bet.
If you want a social life, don't get a bat for a pet.

Without
Withheld
Unknown
But you are still asking yourself
Is it meant for me
Or am I just
A circumstance
Of fate
At the right place at the wrong time
Innocent
Or placed and I simply can't remember
Play along or rebel
Only time will tell
Should I press the bell
Or run like hell
A or B
To be or not to be
He who dares see
Chicken
Goodbye
Hello
Into the worm hole
Go

Premium Member Call Me a Turkey

Calling me a turkey, doesn't make for good friends
Tend to take offense and things get quite tense
Shy away from a fight
But try as I might
Self-preservation wins out, run like hell bumping into that fence

Premium Member Don'T Stand So Close To Me

I know an old lady called Mel
By golly she doesn’t half smell
When she lifts up her arm
It is cause for alarm
I shout bye and then run like hell!

In the Chicken Coop
4/23/2015

In the chicken coop in our side yard
When I was just a child
My siblings taught me how to cuss
It drove my mother wild

We went into the Chicken house
And climbed upon the perch
Then said some words you never heard
On Sunday while in church

We said them way too loudly
Just laughing all the while
What happened next you'll never guess
It did not make us smile

My mother yelled come in the house
For dessert we had some hope
We went in hoping for the best
Got our mouths washed out with soap

The lesson learned for me that day
Here and now I have to tell
If your mother calls when cussing
Be smart and run like hell
