A ROLE MODAL

Imam Ali(?)–The Knowledge Gate
Mercy and kindness,You hath
Angelic, assertive and you teaches faith
Modesty and morals you always orates
Altruists and bravery you instructs your mates
Laudability and liberality you donates
Imam Ali(?)in us, Allah's love you creates.
A life of martyrs you like
.For right path, you always play with pikes
Sacrifice and tolerance,you always like.

Today is the day of your birth
Happiness and joy is on the earth.
Everywhere, everyone is in this preparation
Left to right, all are in their celebrations.
In joy of your arrival on the night of this land
Oh,Lion of Allah!Where you stand?
No one of us want this to know.
Oh,Lion of Allah! No one of us is in the martyer's row
For wealth and health, we are on coves.
Allah, bless us with the last one
Light us with the knowledge-sun.
Life like Rasull-allah(?)we want
Allah-Our creator we want
Hazrat Ali(?)-Our leader we want

Leading Man

Who needs to be a rider
racing 'round a track
way back in the crowd
I'm going to lead the pack
who needs to be a loser
spinning on their wheels
or yield pole position
I'm going to lead the field
and wear the yellow jersey
the one who wins your heart
no longer in a supporting role
I'll have the starring part
and if you'll be my leading lady
and I'm your leading man
I'll always be upfront
always in the van

Playful Scene

Act one had just begun
on the day we met
how was I to know the die was cast
and the stage was set

Act two what was I to do
when you stole my soul
who'd have guessed the part was mine
and I would play a leading role

Act three now you're with me
I put my heart into all I do
should I fall before curtain call
I could put my heart in you

Act four can't ask for more
I won't miss a line or cue
it's beyond my wildest dreams
a fairy tale come true

Gentle Men in their Role as Mothers: Quest for Identity Protection

Gentle Men as Mothers :Quest for Identity Protection.

Gentle he was with them, male and female -
His brothers and sisters from the start...
No giant in disposition, his tender thoughts
Spoke volumes to both men and women-
All of us need words that nurture hearts to heal
Like a nursing mother with her children,
His position did not forbid tones of comfort-
Well meant words from from men's careful hearts
Upbuild to teach, with confidence, not might.
No two -face approach which beats himself.
The feminine one, flesh of man's flesh safe in mind-heart.

No need to blow forbidden kisses
to false goddesses passing by...

The Apostle Paul: his motherly qualities. 1Thessalonians 2:7,8
(The "feminine" qualities in men, are drawn to the feminine qualities in women-
He is a Man who can empathize with his "complement." There is no need to be harsh.
God, as Supreme Authority, is the same. James 5:11

Premium Member The Role Of Spectator

One has a pair of wings the other none,
both possess a different shade of beauty.
That bird’s able to fly the man can run,
to each the other’s life seems so easy.
The man can relay ancient stories spun
as birdsong jams decorating the Sun.
Both will capture the spirit of nature
while enjoying the role of spectator.

Premium Member Role Models - Then and Now

In school when I was being raised
the role models who then were praised
were the American icons—
George Washington, “I cannot tell a lie”
Honest Abe, a straight-shooting kind of guy
Later we heard Jimmy Carter testify
“I’ll never tell a lie …”
For my generation and prior
they raised the bar higher
Honesty was the best policy

That was then
This is now …

When caught in a lie
deny
When accusations resound
double down
When proof’s presented
get inventive
When they continue to confront
cry witch-hunt
When they accuse you of a crime
deflect each time
When they bring more claims
call them demeaning names
over and over
and over and
over and over
and over again
Nothing to lose
You may even win …

But lying is still a sin

Best to extol the role model
who always gets it right
(then and now)
Jesus — ‘The way, the truth, the life!’

Premium Member A Play Within A Play

It’s a play within a play
Where my role is improvised
With the extras of each day
Not intended to surprise
There’s no cause to show concern
No opinions to express
What I know I’ll never learn
What you know, I’ll never guess
The main characters look worn
Their trivial speeches fail
I keep hearing the horn
Of unanswered questions sale
Flying slowly over trees
Notes repeat the same remark
Do we mean much more than leaves
Underfoot in some old park?
In the gardens of belief
Shall I speak what’s left to say
Words of happiness and grief
For a play within a play..

Unreachable Role

By George P. Lumayag

The cast tried to act his dramatic role in the teaching-learning arc;
He portrayed a character he knew very much
with a very adjusted tone of his artistic acts.
He loved it so he danced overnight,
and he mastered it in daylight.

He believed he was a prolific actor therefore he portrayed his best.
His character was exposed in the theater as a rising rainbow,
It seemed such a character was struck with a bow and arrow.
His heart was bleeding on a climax as set
So, that was the reddest light wave of a falling rainbow.

The director explicitly expressed the rules of artistry,
So, the actor implicitly cried that his role as the cast was disqualified
from that teaching and learning art contest!

Premium Member Quatrain 3 - There's a long distance journey

There's a long distance journey we all have to make
going from one life to another through death's gate.
One life may not really be enough to achieve that goal
where the game we have to play requires a perfect role.

NEW JOB

Just a couple of lines to say
We wish you all the best,
On this new role you’re doing
It will put you to the test.

We know that you’re not leaving us
There’s too much here to do,
Besides, you know you’d miss us,
We’re such a friendly crew.

And we never give you hassle
Cos we’d never be that bold,
You know we’re little angels,
In fact, we’re good as gold.

And remember that old saying
That people used to say,
When the cat has left the building
The mice come out to play.

But all joking put aside
We wish you well indeed,
And hope you enjoy the job
And that you do succeed.

Premium Member Somebody

I don’t envy anyone, they don’t envy me
I’m faceless somebody, you wouldn’t know my name
I mingle with the crowd, browsing free
Either alone I walk, I’m just the same
Never applied to reach ambitious goals
Lived on the margins, maybe for too long
Couldn’t care less about the social role
Still have no home, to where my soul belong
To all co-owners of their countries I can tell
This might be fun if I would be allowed
My little share of plentitude to sell
So one could buy what I can live without
I would be glad to get a fee for being here
Also a fee that can provide a better place
Where I can go to freely, with no fear
Of being checked on border by my face.

ROLE REVERSAL

ROLE REVERSAL

A most enterprising canary
Always found the cat very scary
So to turn a new page
Shut the cat in the cage
It’s the cat’s turn now to be wary

Artist

Artist

Her model is me
She created a modern human
Dark with the light
Where is the light?
She kept it safe on her safe

She's my role model
I whim I have a role in her life
She has a big heart
Kept in God
How would I get it?
Should I go to God
Mybe her church got the answer

She's my perfect
Extraordinary
Sometimes I think she is
Extraterrestrial
