Gelded Race Horse

A man ripped me off, he sold me a retired race horse that had been gelded.
He neglected to tell me that and my wife became so furious that I got belted.
The horse that I bought won every time, he never lost a race.
The seller ripped me off so I used a brick to smash his face.
That SOB was able to jip me out of twenty grand because I'm not very bright.
But that brick made him so ugly that he can't get a date on a Saturday night.
I planned to make a lot of money by using my horse for breeding.
I borrowed the twenty grand from a loan shark and now a hospital is what I'll be needing.
I'm broke, I have no money to pay the loan shark back.
The loan shark has arrived and he's ready to attack.
He's showing me no mercy, he's ignoring me as I beg.
He has broken several of my ribs and both of my legs.
I have some advice and you should really take my word.
If somebody tries to sell you a race horse, give him the bird.

A Rabbit Wasn'T Included

When I ordered Welsh Rabbit, a rabbit was not included.
The restaurant ripped me off, that was what I concluded.
All that I was served was some cheese on toast.
I soon learned that the chef wasn't a nice host.
I wanted a rabbit and that was what I demanded.
He threw me out the door because he said I needed to be reprimanded.
I was upset at that chef so I decided to enter his restaurant again.
When he was through, I thought they'd have to call my next of kin.
He burned my butt with his stove and hit my head with a frying pan.
I soon learned that when that chef gets riled, he's a dangerous man.
If you order Welsh Rabbit at his restaurant and ask for a rabbit, he will say no.
And for your own safety you should leave his restaurant peacefully, just let it go.

Cry of An Eight Year

I fear…
I thought I was dear
Why are you giving me this fear?

Your rough rugged hands looming towards my cheeks
This is not like the usual touch of yours
It is something else
Your touch doesn’t make me protective anymore
It makes me shiver
I thought I was dear
Why are you giving me this fear?

Your eyes doesn’t have the love that it used to possess for me
Your eyes has turned devilish
With a cunning grin you encroach towards me
I thought I was dear
Why are you giving me this fear?

You pushed me hard on the soft sofa
But I felt the pain in my small heart
You pinned down my hands hard
I tried to run
But you punched me
You ripped me off my pride and
Ate the fruit of the very seed you planted

I fear…DAD!!! I Fear
I thought I was dear
Why are you giving me this fear?

Christopher

You came to my door
And right from the start
You lied and you cheated
- A perfected art

You told all your stories
Of troubles and woes
Were building a web
For those did not know

You where good with your tales
Of things you could do
You built up a trust
Of people to use

You caused so much anguish
And never did care
You lied for the money
And never heard pray

You destroyed so much trust here
And left such a mess
You stole and you cheated
And you know the rest

You ripped me off big time
I’ll never forget
You left me with hardship
I can’t even rest.

Your name burns on my brain
And thoughts are like stone
I’ll bury you now
Along with old bones

Rough Times

My husband left this life last year
Just two and a half months later
My sweet brother passed away
My best friend's husband also died

My son-in-law left my daughter
I lost my job without just cause
Two disks in my back folded
Two contractors ripped me off

My oldest brother went to jail
My sister was arrested, as well
My favorite brother was fired
From his job for working too much

I found a guy who told me lies
So I left him for another
Now, he's unable to say those things
That I am really needing to hear

My step-grandaughter had to go
Home to live with her mother
My daughter has taken a driving job
I will be alone for the first time ever

Now as this year winds to a close
These eighteen months that I've survived
Were harder than any other
That I have ever had to endure

Thought I couldn't make it
Thought I just might die
Felt so heartbroken
I cried and cried

Looking back, I now can see
The strength it took to make it
Thank you Lord for being there
And for helping me to take it
