this might only take a moment ~ but perhaps could last a trillion more
echoed cause to its consequence ~ you were always just my guarantor

radiant echoes
sunrise morns and sunset glares~
lost souls find their way
wavering colors
northern lights dance in the sky~
beauty in chaos
a flower persists
growing through the cracks of life~
strength in disaster
snowflakes gently fall
wintry delights enchant us~
nature's masterpiece
heart of elegance,
kindness shines through every act~
goodness never fades.
the prismed waterfalls
colors cascade and collide~
spectacle of love

Zen peace and whisk sway;
Coaxing buds to smile,
Husks flap in phlox way.
Diamonds scheme flowers;
Springing whiff for miles,
Bright sunshine for hours.
Stunning shape design;
Charming bystander,
The breeze smells divine.
Shrewd tricks are unknown;
A glowing bloom gift,
This is amply shown.
Diamonds shine and gleam;
A sound tied to awe,
Breathtaking pure dream.
A prize rapt when found;
With love, the world pound.

Moonbeams reflect off the water’s edge
Reminding me that starlight reaches down
To caress my skin with a sense of regret
Knowing how the longing for contentment
Keeps me buried beneath sheets and quilts
~
Whispers of silence collect within my spirit
These are the moments that are dreaded
Flickers of gleaming rays bend to touch me
Keeping me within their grasp, like an echo
Forever sending back sentiments of restlessness
~
Anxious thoughts drift in and out of my conscious
Revealing soft ideas that promise to accept me
In spite of all the reasons my mind keeps exposing
For there are times like this when every thought
Brings with it ~ colors of ebony nightmares resonating

Reverberations
Moist, heavy air settled upon my skin
tauntingly teasing undulating hair.
Reaching out I clutch at the mocking wind
as its fading coolness flees into cloud
my tongue tasting the torment of the air
inhaling brimstone scented vibration
roiling within a billowing terror
striking in a blinding flash of fury
trembling as reverberations thunder
through the cornerstones of my DNA
heart racing to escape a dormant fear
the percussive aftermath of lightning’s arc.
Stillness becalmed on hope’s sporadic breath
exhaled within the darkness of a cloud.

Ominous sounds,
tremors felt underneath the feet
Moving all of the idols
Would they warn the people
if they could speak?
Echoes from the past,
dangerous reverberations
Nothing man made ever last,
no kingdoms ... no nations
Perilous noise,
the air filled with violent vibrations
Vicious vortex with an evil eye,
look to demolish everything in sight
Where will the idols hide;
would they tell others to follow,
lead them to safety if they could talk?
Mute are their emotions,
deadened to the downtrodden’s pain and suffering
The cries of the pitiful fall on their deaf ears
Idols without compassion never hear
Dangerous reverberations,
echoes from the past
In the valley of dark shadows,
the dire warning sounds always do return —
But will man ever listen and learn?

Reverberations of roosters' crows
through the hollow of opposing hills
The cymbal section of nature's band
Singing male Mockingbird such varied notes
Answer by a female but her tune is always the same
Noooooooooo!!
He answers cu-----te, pur___ty, come Here~~er~er
The same answer from her nooooooo!!!
Another female flys up and lands on the fence
nesting material in her mouth
She was lured away by someone's call____
This foggy morn, nice, cool, a few minutes on the porch
Then responsibility to complete today's work since I answered someone's call_____
