I met the ultimate Mr Condescending
Yesterday In the bank
He spoke to us like we were complete morons
Who’s brains had shrivelled and shrank
In order to excuse the banks obvious mistakes
He waffled a complete load of tripe
In a very condescending manner
And nonsensical hype
I do not anger quickly or often
But l could feel my anger rise
I felt the steam steadily blowing
Out of my ears, nose and eyes!
I retaliated with tone and attitude
As l could no longer hear his words
Once realising our brains were still in full working order
He shut-up and we were heard!!
I applaud him for his ideals, specially non-violence.
Britishers beat him hard but he never retaliated back.
His deep knowledge of ancient scriptures made him aware violence
is bad. He knew however bad others maybe we should be good.
He disapproved of partition. He warned leaders it would lead to
major problems and it did. While other leaders celebrated
independence he was busy helping masses like me and you.

Note: When India gained freedom, due to partition communal riots broke out. Gandhiji toured the nation telling all to stop fighting. When he was asked to join Independence day celebration, he replied how can I celebrate when many of my brothers and sisters are suffering. I find no reason to be happy. -- Source Google
It lay curved,
Not curled or coiled;
No slithering,
Not even swing;
‘Snake’, said my wife.
‘Rope’, I did Modify.
‘I have, anyway, believed.’
‘Ha!’ I retaliated;
Shankaracharya’s philosophy slipped in like a soap,
Mistaking rope for snake and snake for rope…
Yet that lay
As though nothing to say…
She took a stick,
I hurried with naked hands to pick;
And, Lo! It stood,
Opening its hood;
‘Jesus!’
Hisses!
She stood cane in her hand,
Helping me hide behind;
Till it crawled fast for life,
And I cried a sigh of relief…
Our little daughter laughed and said:
‘Your Philosophy has fallen dead.'
Her husband was a working encyclopedia.
He could spout off impressive facts
About countries, continents, rain forests.
She had never met such a wise man.
She felt lucky that he married her.
She decided to surprise him one night.
She brought him to a party.
Had not told him about playing the Trivial Pursuit game.
He was confident and cocky.
Stated over and over the manufacturer’s answers were wrong.
The next day he retaliated by bringing home a test.
Let’s take this if you dare, he said.
She asked what it was.
It’s an IQ test.
She was terrified. She knew he was the smart one.
She put him off for five days.
On the sixth day he wrote to the authors of the test
to point out all their errors.
She had outscored him by twenty-two points.
I found you not listening
for your ears are under the soles of your feet
I find yourself not listening because your eyes are below your chin around your neck
and I find my self speaking but you're no longer within the range of my voice
I found you not listening I smell not your aroma
I have found yourself not listening blinded by those sins
I found yourself not listening all over all over again and again
I found myself not listening as I await your voice
I found yourself not listening you have retaliated and chosen another choice
I found yourself not listening through blinded ears and deaf eyes
I find yourself not listening quiet are the bones

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr © 2020
You killed one of mine.
I killed two of yours.
You retaliated by killing ten of my brethren.
I hit back killing one hundred of your people.
Enraged, you eliminated one thousand of my countrymen.
Outraged I obliterated a town of yours.
To get even you destroyed a city of mine!
I came back.....!
The same thing is repeated for thousands of years:
An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth!
And now here we are, my enemy,
Both with one eye, and both with few teeth left.
Don't you think that the time has come for us
To end this insanity before we end up, both,
Toothless and blind?

*The escalation of provocations in the Middle East brings humanity
closer to a total war as days pass by!

The universe and human stupidity; and I am not sure

Evil and God
Good and Bad
Since her first dawn.
She has been hearing it;
Of the both sides of the coin,
Of the both sides of human nature.
If a truth for the coin,
A truth for her.
What if she was not subdued
to be good?
What if she was not taught
to worship God?
Was it necessary?
She wonders as she embraces
the cold hard mattress,
in a cold room bolted from outside.
Animal are not taught,
are not cultured.
Yet they know how to be calm,
how to be angry.
Feed and produce.
They know it all.
Love for love
Fight for fight.
Being human,
Why does she lie here,
Life imprisonment.
Is she dangerous?
Those black and white coats,
bound to zero or one,
would not understand
Provocation.
If the tigress is provoked,
She retaliates.
Still, she knows when to stop.
She retaliated.
She stopped.
It's over.
None can harm her
if she wants.
She learnt.
And been judged - a dangerous criminal!
They were the ones who taught me to be loving and kind,
They were the ones who who showed me most in this life,
They never complained or retaliated, their intentions were good,
They took the time to listen when I felt misunderstood,
I did not have much materialistically to give, but the little meant much more,
My heart, the hours of conversations, some candy, and doing chores,
You taught the most important thing, to always give my heart,
That time is more important than things, that is always where you start,
Towards the end you asked me over and over what do you want, anything,,,it's yours,
I said I want nothing but the both of you as I cried n scrubbed the floors,
Now that your gone, the pain is deep, but what you gave me was the most beautiful to see,
That all these things come n go, but love will never leave,
And all the times I loved the unlovely, I always thought of you,
That in the end love matters the most, it's the only thing that's true...
Once upon a time, a bold knight started his quest
That led him to the fearsome beast's enclave,
Radiant in an armor of courage shining like gold
Where the Dragon roared from disturbed sleep,
As vile creature spewed blasts of heated flame,
Unsettling the master's gait down to the rocks.
But the hero regained fast with his shield, mighty
As lightning, and charged the dragon once, twice;
To where the barbed point struck a monster's chest...
Undaunted, this giant Draco retaliated in haste
Lashing out talons upon our hero's smaller form,
While the mad creature drew it most lethal blow
Now causing the noble knight to fall into a daze.
O, his loyal unicorn retrieved his master's sword
That angered the dragon, anew, reeling a fire...
With his steed alive through chroming on its head
In daring rush, brave knight punctured enemy's sides
Aiming at Draco's eyes, the poison found there;
Like a whip, the empire's villain met its death:
And gallant victor pulled the dragon's head
Which he offered to the king-- a prized endowment,
As for our warrior... dearest princess, his bride!

It all started when Sleeping Beauty slapped Cinderella
Then Snow White retaliated and hit her with an umbrella
as Ariel the little Mermaid's tail turned into legs
Prince Erick and Prince Charming stole the Easter bunny's eggs.
As Alice from wonderland grew five times her size
Hansel and Gretel attacked her by surprise
While Puss in Boots fought Peter pan
Captain Hook and Ursula produced an evil master plan.
Rapunzel chatted with Red Riding hood
and the three little pigs were up to no good
Thumbelina still aspired to grow
and Rumpelstiltskin has a name he thought no one would know
Jack climbed the beanstalk which was later cut down
by the woman in the shoe who stole Cinderellas wedding gown.
The wicked witch of the west set the woman's shoe ablaze
and Dorothy clicked her heels but didn't return home for thirty days.
