You are the artist, you're the poet.

You eat what you are fed
whatever might pass for food.
You don't question it,
you choose to be complacent.
Behind the scenes
there's a monopoly,
a conspiracy to get rich
feeding you whatever
can enrich their greedy pockets.
Your health will pay the true price
of proactive due diligence.

Flowers are pretty
Only if they get their necessities
If they don't, they look ty
Like they just had pity parties
Just like flowers
We need showers
If we aren't responsible
We'll end up pitiful
The wind laid over night
Wars brewing didn't end
Man is still thinking of ways
To kill his brother around the bend
The temperature dropped
And green gowns cover
Some plants and trees once again
Now many countries no longer lovers
As Forsythia's gold is replaced
With a deep green gown of late spring
A cold breeze from the north
Will soon come in as king
How many fruit trees will suffer
That have started to bloom
Some may have established baby fruit
As least I do assume
So many countries want control
They want minerals and black gold
Being the supreme has benefits
At least, I am told
People can try to encourage us
they can nudge and prod like concerned parents
But there comes a time when we realize
we are ultimately the creators of our own destiny
And that is a day of reckoning
Of crossing a bridge of no return
It’s when we realize that we are responsible
The “I” is the conductor, the maestro.
I am the only one who can motivate myself
to be the best person that I can be
It has to be a desire from deep within
strong enough to fire a drive on a daily basis
I have to survey all my options and decide
I’m the one to find a goal worthy of my passion
I need to learn the constellations and draw my map
I’m ultimately the ship captain of my journey

they’ve found it,
the little bastard,
the switch inside us all
that ticks down like a
bomb.
they call it discovery,
a holy grail
in a white lab coat.
the headlines say,
we can stop the body
from rusting,
from falling apart,
from dying.
but don’t get too happy—
it’s not for you,
or me,
or the kid coughing
on a hospital bed,
his mother counting
change in a paper cup
by the soda machine.
the poor won’t see it,
they never do.
the miracle pill,
the nano cure,
the second life—
all locked in a vault
of stock options and patents.
we’ll keep aging
in dirty apartments,
while the rich buy time
like it’s whiskey
at the corner bar.
The power depends on the people’s will
They were taught to believe this at high school
But as practice has shown, powers like to kill
And the people are forced to obey under rule
So the contract between the people and power
Looks a bit stretched cause it was preset
Do I need a law how to water my flower?
My goodwill’s stipulated without my consent?
And now you self appointed judges get loud
Condemning me for the war in your garden
But you've got the wrong address, dear crowd
Type the proper number of your chosen warden
Am I not responsible for lunar eclipses yet?
Mustn’t I write an explanatory note
On three A 4 sheets of paper, so that
Could be cheerfully taken as my absent vote.

I love men of integrity
They are one of a kind bred
They respect and appreciate
Mothers, wives and daughters
They'll not raise hands easily
In anger and not humiliate
A word during separation
They work hard for their family
Mostly not for themselves.
I love the real men
Their power is in action
Their love is great for happiness
They will walk with you
On the most thorny path
Not let you go of your hands.
I respect men of honor
Their actions are louder than words
Guarantee no empty promises
Will not repel in offense
Will not betray in separation
Their words are laws
They want to be listened to
They want to listen to also
Dependable to small and vulnerable.
Does your partner is responsible
The impact in your life is huge
It's not easy to see ordinary life
But when two people are in argument
The true face of a partner is not hidden
Stay silent and don't talk back
It doesn't solve any problem
It's not emotional intelligence
It's sad fact and a lonely reality
It's an act of irresponsibility.
The more time you have, the more responsible you are.
The more wealth you have, the more responsible you are.
The more knowledge you have, the more responsible you are.
The more power you have, the more responsible you are.
People of God
Let us be responsible
With what we speak
It's easy to accuse a person
Something you can't prove
That's irresponsibility
Don't accuse anyone
If anything you can't prove
Not even your enemies
And don't talk against
Someone on their backs
Don't backbite anyone
When they don't know
What you're talking about
Don't destroy their reputation
Don't character assassinate them
Even though they are considered your enemies
That's why He said love your enemies
Be responsible with your words
A person who's irresponsible with his words
Is a person that is not worth one centavo of respect.
Responsible is
Accountable to teach their
Children what is please.
“What we really need to learn as humans is to take responsibility for ourselves” (topic quote of Miranda Hawley)
Be Responsible
Today it seems like hardly anyone
has great concern for others. You can see
this in society in many ways,
especially when folks want all things for free.
Some people choose to lay around – not work!
They try to get on welfare if they can.
Our taxes pay for these folks’ laziness.
I’d never want to wed a slothful man.
We need example from good moms and dads
to change the way our youth are being taught.
The work ethic grows weaker with each decade.
The world owes us a living? I think not!
Be independent. Have respect; be kind.
Support is nice if you are down and out.
But even some disabled folks can help themselves.
The extra greedy needy we can do without.
I’m not responsible;
This is where you forced me,
locked in innuendo;
All your b s love songs,
what else was left to do?
I’m not responsible;
That oppressive whisper,
oh the shivers would ache;
With that broken refrain
I make a swift jailbreak;
I’m not responsible
for how you teased my thoughts;
Wanting you had to end;
You talked way too dirty,
you should love your best friend.
